The meeting point is 60m from the "Acropolis" metro station, at Athanasiou Diakou 16 Street & Syggrou Avenue, 11742 Athens.(link). When using Google or Apple Maps, be sure to include the postal code 11742 to locate us correctly. Piraeus port is about 40 minutes by taxi depending on the traffic.
End point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.Itinerary
The ride starts near the Acropolis metro station, where you're fitted with your bike, helmet, and a regular or electric option. From there, follow your guide and small group along a bike-friendly route past the Acropolis Museum to the National Observatory, with a short walk up to the overlook for views across the city.
The route continues through Thiseio and past the Kerameikos cemetery and Roman Agora, with a stop for photos, then on past the Cathedral, the Plaka neighborhood, and a viewpoint over the Acropolis and Parthenon. The final stretch passes the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium, and the Zappeion, ending at the Arch of Hadrian before returning to the meeting point.
If you've chosen the e-bike option with the Acropolis add-on, you also spend time at the hilltop complex with a guide.

- Our tours will operate under all weather conditions, rain or shine
- Please arrive at the starting point 15 minutes early. The bike tour begins promptly at the scheduled time and late arrivals cannot be accommodated
- Please note that there are no restroom facilities at our meeting point
- This tour is suitable for all fitness levels, as long as you can ride a bike. Not recommended for those with heart conditions or other serious medical issues
- Participants must be over 12 years old
- This tour does not include entry to archaeological sites (except for the Electric Bike + Acropolis Visit option). The focus is on exploring the city’s layout, enjoying the ride, and capturing great photos and it does not include an in-depth historical commentary
- This tour is limited to a maximum of 12 participants
- The tour leader may modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or traffic regulations on the day of the tour
- For option 'Electric Bike + Acropolis Visit' :Acropolis entrance tickets are included, so please do not purchase them separately

What an incredible way to experience Athens! Demos was the most gracious and wonderful host and shared so much history with us. Would highly recommend both the tour and Demos who clearly loves the deep and amazing culture of each site on the tour!

It's the first time I tried an electric bike. I would recommend doing this in the morning like we did because Athens gets hot in the afternoon. Our guide Alex was really funny. He's a writer-musician who has an interesting take on Greek culture.

Alex made the ride fun. It is a bit challenging for beginners. Marble streets, up and down narrow roads. Dodging pedestrians and cars. But if you are comfortable on the E bike it can be a great experience to see Athens. Go before its so hot out.

Fantastic tour! Aggelos, our guide, was fun, funny all while sharing interesting details about each landmark. Electric bikes were great, no experience needed, a quick totirial explains everything. Don’t miss this tour! Way more fun in the summer sun with air whipping by your face and legs to cool down.

We were newbies to e-bikes our guide provided clear instructions on using the bike anx the levels of power assistance. The bikes were well maintained. The tour around Athens was an easy pace mostly flat with one small uphill section which was made easy with the assistance of the e-bike.

This was a fantastic experience and we enjoyed every minute. I didn’t want it to end. The guides were so friendly, knowledgable and funny. The bikes were superb and easy to use. It was the first time we had used electric bikes. It was much easier than I anticipated. We saw all the best parts of Athens which I don’t think we would have discovered or had time to explore without the guides. It was also nice to meet other travellers from all over the world.

Great pace, the bikes were fun to use and our guide was great! We saw some monuments in Athens that we hadn't seen yet which was nice! I think I'd recommend doing this tour early in your trip to Athens to become familiar with the city!

We were only spending 2 days in Athens, so we did this on our first day. It was a great way to get an overview of the Athens area, exploring several different neighborhoods that we wouldn't have been able to reach in that amount of time by just walking. Our guide, Demetrius was great. He was very engaging and fun, able to answer questions that we had. It was nice that he even pointed out things that we would be ok to avoid if we didn't have enough time. Getting that overview helped us decide what areas we wanted to hit again on our second day there. It was a very easy ride using the e-bikes--not strenuous at all. Highly recommended!

This was a great way to see a lot of sights and parts of the city in a small amount of time. We stopped a few times to take in the views and learn the history of the area and get an idea of where we wanted to explore more. Our tour guide was really informative and knowable of the area. The bikes were easy to use and a great way to get a little bit of exercise and fresh air!

This tour took in all the main sites and was great for getting our bearings. Karolis our guide was knowledgable and good fun and got the timings perfect to see the changing of the guard at the palace. We booked normal bike tour (also cheaper) but turned out to be all electric bikes, which we did need for some of the route - it was great to get up to the observatory for the super views. Bikes were very easy to handle.

Loved this experience! Demos was an excellent tour guide, very fun and informative. We rode a loop around the base of the Acropolis, through the Zappeion Garden, then over to the Presidential Office and Panathenaic Stadium, then stopped back at base before walking over to the Acropolis (we selected the tour with additional Acropolis tickets + guide). Such a fun way to see Athens. Helmets are provided and the e-bikes are very user friendly. Rode mainly through neighborhoods and avoided busy, high traffic main roads. Highly recommend.

Dimitris was great. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. It got a little crowded in places, but not too bad. Fun to see the changing of the guard and hear some firsthand background on military service in Greece.

We really enjoyed this tour with Jim (Demetrius). He took us to spots we would not have known about otherwise, such as the Hill of the Nymphs. The bikes were enjoyable and easy to ride. Jim shared a wealth of information about the Plaka and Acropolis areas, along with a keen sense of humor. And there were only five other people on our tour - a big bonus!
