- Entrance fees are included (unless you book without entrance tickets) - if you choose without you will need to book them on line at the official website asap since they can be sold out days in advance, if still tickets are sold please inform us to book them for you in advance
- Infants must sit on laps - Strollers are not allowed within Acropolis, you can leave your stroller at the meeting point in our premises at Porinou 5.

- Please make sure this tour includes approximately one mile of walking uphill/downhill on uneven surfaces and 200 steps (both ways).
- Guests are advised to wear flat and comfortable walking shoes. Large backpacks and oversized purses are not permitted inside the site. Long queues and waiting might occur and every effort is made to coordinate the best timings for visits.

As complete of a tour as you can get. It was a lot of walking/standing so be ready for that. Great knowledgeable guide. A must do.

Excellent tour, but the meeting spot was a little bit convoluted. The guide was very knowledgeable about all things Acropolis and an ancient Greece. I would recommend this tour while you are in Athens. I was amazed that most people did not tip the guide. That’s on the patrons not on the tour. Just hoping that people who read this will realize that guides should be tipped.

I didnt understand in the description that the Acropolis museum was not included. Maybe my mistake? They were willing to help purchase tickets for us at the start because of the misunderstanding . Then at the end, the guide said maybe we should Buy our own museum Tickets instead.. Viator may be convenient but you should be willing to pay $$. $335+ for 4 just to enter Acropolis and see the Parthenon..

Overall a great experience but with the tourism in Greece the site was extremely overcrowded and very rushed. The history is wonderful and the culture of the past brought to life for us to briefly experience.

Alexia was our favorite guide this trip, and we had some good ones. She made the history come alive! She kept us moving but also was patient for pictures and questions. Her knowledge was very deep but kept it fun for the novice to Athens history.

Our guide was fantastic! John the Archeologist was extremely knowledgeable and engaging! Strongly recommend booking this tour and ask for John! Our family traveled with 3 generations and he was highly accommodating and we stopped several places to sit and listen to the history.

Beat the queues with the pre-purchased tickets, everyone had headsets so it was easy to stay with the group but also wander slightly. Micheal knew his stuff and gave very interesting information.
We also booked the museum tour, we would suggest not doing both, get your own tickets and wander at will. There was no break between the 2 and was very hard to stay focused

Margaret (AKA Margarita) was an AMAZING guide. Her English was perfect. Her knowledge immense and she knew how to make everything fascinating. She was funny and kind and caring. I have told so many people about her. If I return I would ask for her again. She made my visit to the Parthenon something I will always remember. I left feeling in awe of it all. This was a more than 5 star experience. Kudos to Margarita!

Getting a knowledgeable guide made the whole tour so much better. All the facts and observations that I would never have known without Margarita enhanced the experience so much. I also highly recommend adding the museum to the Acropolis tour as many of the original artifacts reside inside the museum.
Also - plan to arrive early for your tour. The confirmation says 15 minutes before the scheduled time. This means you will actually start walking from the office 15 minutes prior and will be at the site prior to the scheduled time.

I enjoyed visiting the Acropolis and the Parthenon, as both sites are incredible and rich in history. However, I was disappointed with the tour guide. The guide frequently made the discussion political and asked many personal questions about guests’ backgrounds and where they were from. Early in the tour, she made some negative references to the United States, which I did not appreciate and which made the atmosphere somewhat uncomfortable.
I would have preferred that the guide focus more on the historical aspects of the Acropolis and the Parthenon rather than personal or political commentary. The tour also leaned heavily toward cultural discussion, while I was hoping for a more historically centered explanation of the sites. Because of this, I would not recommend this particular tour guide.

Selena was a knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic tour guide. She had many interesting points about the history of the Acropolis and Parthenon, interwoven with humor and popular culture references. We especially liked the way she punctuated the 2-hour tour with summaries to help us remember the key facts and information.
