My host Dora was very knowledgeable and shared great insights into the acropolis and Parthenon. I wish she had had a flag or something because at one point I lost her and the group. In hindsight I’m not sure it was worth the amount I paid but I’m glad I did it.

A fabulous tour and highly recommend it. We went early morning (First tour of the day) and the was key because it was cooler. Our tour guide Anna was such a blast; very knowledgeable of the history the Acropolis and Greece and surroundings of Athens. She had a great sense of humor and bubbly personality. Include the museum tour because there is so much beautiful artifacts in it.

John the archaeologist is passionate and makes the tour come to life. Still remembering things he shared on the tour. Was a great experience!

An excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Helen was patient and explained so much to us. She was very conscious of her attendees and pointed out not only all the points of interest and the history, but also made us all aware of our footings and safety concerns. As an older person I deeply appreciate the concern and attention given to this. The trip was just the right length of time and perfect for first time travelers to Greece. Kudos for a job well done.

Georgia was our guide on this guided tour of the Acropolis. She was a fantastic guide taking her time to explain the sights we were seeing the history of the area. She was a little bit repetitive in her discourse but that was good for us to remember the mythology that was part of the narrative. She even took picture for those who wanted them. Overalll, the 2 hour tour was just about the right amount of time to spend at the Acropolis. Highly recommend this to our fellow travelers.

Definitely hot but we were given breaks in the shade. GO EARLY. we were the first tour of the day and it was already PACKED

Great tour. Very informative and fun time with Voula. We did the tour of the ruins and the museum. I highly recommend this for the full experience.

We had a great time seeing the Acroplolis up close. Definitely bring water. We did the evening tour and recommend that as it's super hot during the day. Our guide was really knowledgeable and kept us in the shade as much as possible. Being there near sunset was beautiful.

The tour was very informative and our guide Michael was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job

Take water and wear the right shoes. Stay with your guide they know where are the best places to stand
Caroline_H, Sep 2026
Great way to start the day! Make sure you wear sturdy shoes and are fairly fit! The views from the top are stunning.

We did the tour with Kostas. His passion for the history and architecture pours out during the tour. It’s not just random information, he tells you an entire story. I left feeling so fulfilled and I didn’t even think this would be a top thing for me! And it was! Absolutely amazing and Kostas will be someone we don’t ever forget! We recommend tagging along with him for the museum as well!

This tour was very organized. Our guide was very knowledgeable and considerate of the challenge of walking up to the Acroplois/Parthenon; she kept us informed and tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible as well as advancing to the top as it was August in Athens. She made sure we stayed together and took breaks for much-needed hydration. When we reached the top she offered to take photos and field any additional questions we might have. All in all, a very impressive and challenging accomplishment.

This was the perfect amount of time for us to spend touring the Acropolis. Anna our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and gave some interesting facts!! We learned so much- it was very helpful having a guided tour. It gets hot quickly so eat a light breakfast, hydrate the day before as well as during the tour, and comfortable non-slip shoes are a must!

Ana was incredible! We’ve taken several tours, walking, etc.. and always have a great experience. However, Ana add a great deal of humor and pride intermixed with history we would’ve walked right by.
Lisa_B, Sep 2026
On a very warm morning, we may the climb to the Parthenon. Vasily was a knowledgeable and congenial guide. The pace was good and I was surprised at how many old folks do it, I’m 65! This is the star of the city! Wear a good shoe with traction, some rocks are worn smooth and slippery. I regret I didn’t get a museum ticket. In summer, go early as we were looking for shade.

Annie was absolutely wonderful! So knowledgeable! I loved going through this tour with everything she shared with us. Made it even better than just seeing the site!!!
Karen_R, Sep 2026
A really fun and informative tour with Anna. She may have described herself as ‘crazy’ but don’t let that fool you. She knew her stuff and was able to answer all the questions. She made the whole tour accessible with enough detail to intrigue but not bore.
Highly recommended!

Very knowledgeable guide - with insights you would otherwise not know.
Going early was key as it was getting busy as we exited.
Tracey_M, Sep 2026
Our tour of the Acropolis was amazing. The experience of seeing this stunning piece of history was breathtaking. Our tour guide Iris was very informative with lots of history and culture to bring the experience to life. A fabulous must do tour.
Peter_W, Sep 2026
A great guide and well structured tour. I liked how the guide took us through the history and mythology. Finishing in the museum was perfect.
Deborah_G, Sep 2026
We truly enjoyed seeing the Acropolis this way. Our guide was passionate about the area and had great information to share! It was a very hot day, having water with us was essential!
Lori_R, Sep 2026
We had a fantastic time. Meeting point was easy to find with clear directions. Our tour guide Dorina was amazing and brought the history to life. Would 10/10 recommend and book again
Michele_C, Sep 2026
Great tour guide but prepare to be very hot, crowded and there are no restrooms once inside the Acropolis
Adam_C, Aug 2026
Simon was an excellent guide and made my Acropolis tour one of the highlights of my time in Athens. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great way of bringing the history to life without making it feel like a lecture. He answered every question thoughtfully and made the entire experience feel very personal. Highly recommend booking with Simon if you’re visiting the Acropolis.
David_J, Aug 2026
Interesting. Was fun taking a walk through history and see all of the pillers still staying from such a long time ago.
Derek_G, Aug 2026
Jason was super knowledgeable and considerate, this is simply the best way to experience these incredible monuments. His passion for the Acropolis was clear, but it was also nice to have a laugh along the way. Very much recommended.
Kathy_L, Aug 2026
This was a good tour with an excellent guide. Anna gave lots of history but kept it simple. It was slow enough in the heat as well. It was very crowded and hard to stay in the group at times. But do not arrive early as was stated in the instructions. It said to arrive at the office from 7:45 to 8:45 and the tour would start within 10 minutes. We arrived at 8:15 and waited 30 minutes and were told we couldn't go in til our ticket time at 9:00. Also, this is not a skip the line tour. However, we enjoyed our time and the sites and learned a lot.
