We lived this food tour of the city of Athens. We tried so many different foods. It was just a bit sometimes and sometimes a regular portion. Our guide was great and very friendly. We would have never found all these wonderful food places. We would recommend it.

I traveled with my father who is not into group tours and even he enjoyed the food tour! Our guide was so knowledgable, had personal stories and made it so fun. He taught us words in Greek, the meaning of words related to food. Would definitely recommend

This walking food tour in Athens was one of the highlights of our trip! It was a fantastic way to experience authentic local Greek street food while learning so much about Greek culture, history, and everyday life.
Our tour guide was incredibly informative, high-energy, and entertaining from start to finish. They were very personable and made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun, especially when it came to meeting other people on the tour. We loved all of the local insight about Greek traditions, lifestyle, and the history of Athens woven throughout the experience.
If you want something beyond the typical tourist experience and really want to connect with the food and culture of Athens, this tour is absolutely worth it!

The tour was really nice, full of amazing and tasty food and lots of interesting facts about Greek history and culture.
I was with two teenagers and they were not enthusiastic before the tour … but at the end of it, they both told me that it was really nice and that they really enjoyed it.

Ginny was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable, plus great Attitude and Enthusiasm. Walked through a lot of historic Athens with a bunch of stops for street food from appetizers to desert. Our first tour of this type, and we thought it was great but nothing to compare it to. Another couple mentioned it was by far the best of 7 they had gone on.

We booked the street food tour for our first afternoon in Athens. We loved all of the food and even went back to Suvla for more souvlaki the next day. Fotis was a great guide showing us places of interest, giving us some history, and explaining all of the food samples. Bring your appetite as it's a lot of food.

A delicious way to get to know the city of Athens! By the end of the tour, we were full of very good food and very interesting facts about the city. Emi was wonderful, she was funny and knowledgeable. She even taught us important words in Greek, like yamas! Overall, a great experience!

We really enjoyed this experience! The places we visited felt very authentic and not "tourists traps"
We are foodies and we already had some knowledge of Greek food but we did discover new flavors and stories behind the different dishes we tried. Thank you to Iota (I think that's how her name is written) for adjusting the pace to accommodate for some members of our group that had relatively limited mobility.

Great walk from the Parliament building to Monsteraki square with a lot of history incorporated. Emmy was an enthusiastic tour guide. Impeccably organized. Vegetarian options were excellent.

Very good experience. Guide offered a great deal of information about Greece and it's history about it's food and in general. The food was varied and very good and large portions. Going at night added to the experience. Would definitely recommend.

This is more than a food tour, it’s a cultural experience. Our guide, Fotis, was entertaining, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Beware, you will be very full by the end of the tour, but it’s well worth it! The food samples were exceptional! We started at a restaurant (seated) with a full serving of souvlaki and an adult beverage (nonalcoholic options were available). Our next stop was a bakery where we tried a delicious spinach pie. We proceeded through a delightful scenic area and tried a Greek bagel (quick breakfast option for many in Greece) near The King’s Theater (exquisitely decorated for Christmas). We then walked to another establishment where sat down to learn about (and try) orange pie with water buffalo milk ice cream - YUM! After a very short walk through an area filled with shops & restaurants, we stopped to have Greek doughnuts, sampling some with honey, pistachio praline, and finally hazelnut chocolate. WOW! I highly recommend this tour and the incredible opportunity to sample authentic Greek food.

We had an opportunity to try many Greek traditional foods. Our guide used an iPad to show us history, culture and geography related to Greek food. He was friendly, informative and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Fun tour with great food! Yoda was great with local information and took us to local food stops. The food was tasty, had meat and cheese pie, gyro, pizza, orange cake, and doughnuts.

Photis was amazing! Really. Book this tour if you have time and want to have a blast. The food was fantastic and very delicious. The stories and information about the city, Greece history and the culture was invaluable. We enjoyed every minute of this tour and only regret that it wasn't longer. The best advice I can give is to do this on your first day/night when you arrive if possible. It really helps with getting acquainted with the neighborhoods and you will get some recommendations for other pubs, restaurants and desserts for the rest of your trip. Fairies toe Photi!!
