Just the right timing and amount if information! Our guide gave us time to explore and take pictures before the crowds descended on the Parthenon. We had two older adults and they could keep up. Note, there a re stairs, some slippery marble, and unpaved descend.

This was the best way to see acropolis- before it gets too hot and too crowded. Guide was informative. My husband and 11 year old were really engaged. Our 7 year old was bored so I would skip the guided part if you have littles and explore on your own.

Get there early. This team has it all organized. You use earbuds that help you hear the tour guide. Without it I would not have known what I was looking at. It was great!

Get there on time! 7:45am. Use the bathroom before you enter. Entry starts at 8 but the company arrives very early and secures the first spot in line for your group. Bring a small water and phone to take pictures. Don’t bring a big bag and you will get through security quick. Early is better. Beat heat and crowds. Better pics!!

This was misleading the way it was advertised. This tour was $90 which I thought included a museum ticket. Of course if I’m doing a Parthenon tour it should include a ticket to that! Not sure why it was 60$ more! Should have just done the regular tour for $30!

When selected, our pricing covers the expert-guided tour and the site entrance ticket (30 euros), which directly supports the preservation of these ancient landmarks (some guests, such as EU youth or seniors, may also be eligible for reduced site tickets independently).
It is not possible that the single price of the tour includes the cost of the site entrance.

Hermes made this one of the best guided tours I’ve ever taken. He has an incredible ability to bring the history of the Acropolis to life with fascinating stories, while keeping the tour engaging and easy to follow. His sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable—we were laughing throughout, but also learned so much.
You can tell he’s deeply knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about Greek history. He answered every question with enthusiasm and made even complex topics accessible. The pacing was perfect, and I left with a much deeper appreciation of the Acropolis than I would have had exploring it on my own.

This was the best way to visit the Acropolis - we beat the heat and the crowds and it was very enjoyable. Being able to watch the Greek Army march down the Acropolis after raising the Greek Flag was a highlight! Our guide was very knowledgeable and considerate of our group - allowing us to roam and explore, but getting us back together (in the shade) to learn more.

We had Effie as our tour guide and it was 100 percent worth it. We went for 8 am tour, we got in without waiting in a line and she was very knowledgeable on everything. Would highly recommend this.

Wonderful tour of Acropolis. Worth the extra cost to do the early access. Magical to see the sun low in sky and comfortable even in mid-July. They time things very well so you beat the crowds and the worst of the heat. Coming down the way up was so crowded as they inched along. And the heat became intense. Ends exactly in front of the Acropolis museum. No line. Amazing AC to reset and to see the sculptures from the Acropolis. Quick visit and well worth it. Our guide was great.

This tour was worth every dollar to beat the heat and the crowd. We were one of the first 30 people into the Acropolis which allowed us to get a picture with no other people in the background. Our tour guide, Evie, did a great job explaining the background of the sights. This 2 hour tour was perfect to hit the highlights.

The only part that may throw you off is that the guide waited at the gate not on the lower drop off area. This is because they are attempting to hold a place in line to get the best access. It is breath taking there and though it can tell its own story the attraction itself is large and everything has a story. Our guide also provided practical tips to be safe and I give her full credit for taking initiative and holding a spot in the shade to give us more information--It was the ONLY SPOT on the top with shade so very well planned out and also very knowledgeable

So glad we chose this option for our visit to the Acropolis! The crowds that had gathered by the time we were leaving made us feel very fortunate that we'd had the opportunity to get there early. Our guide Dionysus was great, particularly appreciated that he always made sure we were in the shade when he stopped to talk! We did this tour with a four year old and a baby and it was just the right length to avoid them getting too bored.

It was a great tour. Our guide was so nice and very patient with everyone. She was super knowledgeable and kind as well. We highly recommend this tour. We got to the top before anyone which made it a lot easier to get photos. By 9am the place is a zoo so getting up first was key.
