I was disappointed at first because it seemed like there were a lot of people for “early access”. I didn’t count but it seemed like 200. After about an hour I think there were HUGE crowds and so many people. So I was very grateful to have the early access!
Our guide Nicolette was very nice! She spoke clearly and was easy to understand. I did feel like the other groups we passed were getting more information.
I would want to have smaller groups next time. We had 25 or 27 which Nicolette handled very well. She made sure we could find her (she had an extendable flag!) and was easy to follow around.
I loved the early access and I would do that again. It was very nice to have the individual transmitter and earbuds so you could hear from farther away.

Were told to turn up 30 minutes early and wait by the canteen, Guides turned up late and didn't go to the canteen ( which was an unlabelled building - very confusing)

Great experience. Guide was very knowledgeable but also kept it very interesting. Time for picture taking and looking around ourselves. If going to the Parthenon definitely worth it!

My husband and I were in Athens for our honeymoon and we booked the first morning tour in the Acropolis. Our tour guide was Nicky and she was great! She was funny, gave us time to take photos, gave us a lot of information and stories and was overall just a great guide! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens. We saw everything in the Acropolis and then some!

We had Margarita as our tour guide, she was excellent! Very knowledgeable about Acropolis. She had great story's about the gods and all the myths. Super educational facts, too. The early time slot is a must- it was busy, but by the time we were leaving it was over crowded and would not have been as enjoyable. 10/10 😁

Was definitely worth booking the first tour of the day. Our guide Sofia made sure we got to the Parthenon first so we have amazing photos without anyone else in the background.
Then we made our way slowly back down and stopped to talk about all the other sites at the Acropolis.

We were first in before everyone else front of queue and being early the others crowds had yet to arrive. Great knowledge of our guide, and with 32 years of experience what she didn’t know isn’t worth knowing. Perfect tour of you want to get all the shots without needing to crop people out of your pics.

The acropolis walking surfaces are slippery and rough, currently there are no toilets on the top of the acropolis and the crowds built up quickly in the morning. The early morning start was brilliant and our guide from Athens walking Tours, Philippia, was lovely and very well informed. The tour was enjoyable and intertwining but also informative.

If you’re looking to understand the Acropolis with a funny, lighthearted guide, book this! Our tour was very enjoyable despite the rain and cold—if we would have booked this without a guide, I’m not sure how much we would have seen and enjoyed.

The tour was really good. Our guide was obviously knowledgeable on the subject...she may have shared a little too much detail.
She paced the tour well with the right amount of walking and stopping. My only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of detail on the meeting spot. These tours should give really precise meeting locations so you don't feel pressure and finding the meeting point shouldn't feel like an episode of The Amazing Race.

This tour was worth the expense. Our guide Konstantina was excellent. The only time she wasn't giving us information was for about 15 minutes at the top when she let us loose to take pictures before the crowds started coming up the hill. We were first in line to see the Acropolis, which was perfect for getting good pictures and enjoying the site without crowds. We had time to visit the island of Aegina after the tour.

Our guide Dora did a great job explaining everything and being very attentive to group. I learned a great deal about Greek culture and the ruins/Acropolis. Going in early before the huge crowds arrived was definitely worth it.

Excellent tour! We headed straight up to the Parthenon and were up there for about 40 minutes before the crowd started to pour in. We got great photos. Then on the way back once it was more crowded. We headed down to see the other temples and sanctuaries. Ended with the theater of dialysis. Antonia was a great guide. We would definitely recommend.

If you have an older child take I'd for then in case asked to prove under 18. The meeting pont was easy to find and tour guide was friendly, informative and very knowledgeable with good English. Pace was good.
We had to que a bit to get in and it got busy towards end but much much less busy than when we finished.
