Vanessa was our guide/driver and she is fabulous! She is a smart and sweet local with so much information about the island. She customized the tour to fit our interests. She is a perfect driver and a great conversationalist. We feel like we got a behind the scenes tours. Things we would have missed in our own. I highly recommend! It was a lovely day.

The guide/driver will be waiting for our guests at the meeting point holding a sign with their name on.

This tour was amazing from start to finish. Our guide, Astri, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the history and current life on Santorini. He tailored the tour to our needs and took us to photo sites that weren’t crowded. He even took stunning photos of us. He also took us to a great restaurant for lunch where we had some delicious Greek food. I will definitely request him as a guide when I return to Santorini. We came in on a cruise ship and this was the perfect way to spend a few hours in Santorini. If you’re considering this tour, rest assured that you will not be disappointed.

It was amazing, our tour guide named Astri was very helpful and professional, he gave us the best tour in Santorini and also took us to a restaurant that had the best sea food we were very impressed. Our guide Luigi who is native to Santorini showed us many of the hidden treasures of the islands, while also providing us intimate access to the most famous sights. The pace was set to what we preferred and we managed to traverse the entire island in the 5 hours. Highly recommend!

Santorini half day tour with Akis

Our private tour with Akis was amazing. We saw the entire island. He was so knowledgeable about the island and added his personal touch with heartfelt childhood stories of his grandfather who lived in Santorini. Akis knew all the most picturesque "spots" for photos (and is a great photographer as well) . He was attentive to all details. The van was meticulous. He had cold waters waiting for us. Throughout the tour he was always concerned with our comfort. He even WiFi and USBC cable in the van so I could charge my phone. He was very mannerly consistently opening the van doors for all of us. My husband and 2 daughters(ages 17 and 19) highly recommend taking this tour.

It was an amazing trip. Petros was very helpful showing us all he can. We liked the island and we would recommend the tour. Without a planned tour you cannot see not even 20% of what we saw in the short time we had coming from the cruise.

Good way to see Santorini

Lovely Sara picked us up at the cable car exit and took us to air conditioned car. Her and Astri gave us plenty of geographical, cultural and historical information as we drove around and took us to the best spots for photos. In Oia we were able to get through the massive line and crazy crowd so very grateful to Sara we didn’t have to stand in that madness for too long. Great recommendations for ice cream and lunch was just delicious (we ordered too much) at the fish tavern. Nothing was rushed and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful tour, we saw the entire island and had many stops where we took great pictures. We rode in a nice minibus, it was clean and spacious with good air conditioning. Our tour guide Sara made the tour even better. She was fun and energetic and had great knowledge of the island and its history. We can’t say enough good things about Sara, she is one of best tour guides we ever had. We learned a lot about Santorini in short time. We stopped for lunch at a great restaurant that she recommended and it was a highlight of our day. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Absolutely amazing experience. We got in early to Santorini and were able to move our tour up a few hours. Our driver, Theo, met us promptly in a well kept Mercedes and took us on a 3 hour adventure of the highlights of Santorini. He was friendly, informative and engaging. We could not have asked for a better day on the island. The tour was worth every penny and then some. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide Akis did a phenomenal job! He went above and beyond. He was thoughtful by providing us with cold waters, ensuring we'd stop or walk in shade whenever possible, and taking us to more remote areas for better/less crowded pictures. All of his stories put a personal touch on the tour and made all of the information much more interesting and easier to absorb.

We had great pleasure doing a half day trip with AA travels our driver and guide were Astri and his daughter Sara. I must say it was highlight of our Santorini trip. Both Astri and Sara are very knowledgeable, kind and very patient when we were taking hundreds of pictures. We were travelling with kids and they were very accommodating. Sara helped us with pictures slot really appreciate. They are very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history background about various spots in Santorini. They took us to all the beautiful picturesque spots of whole Santorini from Kamari, Fira and all the way upto Pia with few more stops in-between. All in all I would highly recommend AA travels and Astri and Sara. Thanks

We had a great time enjoying Santorini with our driver/guide Arkis! He is a local and has incredible knowledge about the island. He went above and beyond to show us around, took us to hidden alleys and viewpoints. We learned a lot about the island’s history, geography and geology. Without him, we would be trapped in the busy tourist places and get lost. It helped us experience the island from a more in depth angle. The car was spotless and his driving was professional. They are also very flexible and tailored to our needs. Provided ice cold water. Highly recommend it.

Asteri was our guide. He was fantastic, no you don’t understand… I mean absolutely terrific. Not only can he maneuver a giant Mercedes van through the tightest of spaces like he’s driving a Fiat 500, he is also extremely knowledgeable about the island, about history, and about explaining it in ways that we all could understand. He had this down to an absolute science. For the portions of the tour where he dropped us off, he would point us in a direction. Give us a landmark and say I’ll meet you at that landmark in 10 minutes. He navigated us through every crowded area, got us past every single line, took fantastic photos of our family, and did it all with such a calming smile on his face. He knew the best spots to take pictures, the best views, the best things to point out and what to ignore. And he kept everyone’s attention even our little ones. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Asteri as your guide.
