Very organized and knowledgeable guide, gave us insight into the ancient ruins of the Parthenon and the temples of Athena, and other ancient structures in the vicinity of Athens
My daughter and I did ths tour. Of note, my daughter has had an ankle fusion that impacts things such as stairs and the uneven surfaces, so we are a little slower in some places. Our guide was great and made sure she didn't leave us behind. She also had so much knowledge about the history and was able to bring the tour to life. The site was amazing and very much worth the effort.
We were fortunate to have an excellent guide … Simon. Although we were there the one day in September it decided to rain, Simon was so informative and always reminded us to step carefully due to it being quite wet! Would tour with him any time in future!
Chrysa was friendly and welcoming. She made the experience enjoyable and engaging. I’d recommend this tour to my friends.
It says there is a museum tour but there is not. Acropolis, Parthenon and Acropolis museum tour was what we paid for and got Acropolis and Parthenon only.
Our guide Dora was fantastic - so knowledgeable, good pace and museum a must do. Highly recommended for first time travellers.

Our tour guide Fotini was by far the most pleasant, helpful and informative guide we've experienced over the past few weeks while we have been travelling. Her concern about our safety at the top of the Acropolis as some parts are very slippery and overcrowded, was very reassuring.

Great tour with just the right amount of information for anyone to absorb without feeling like you’re in history class. Tour guide was knowledgeable and funny throughout the entire tour. We climbed the Acropolis while learning about its history and never felt out of breath as she took her time. This set of ruins was worth the strenuous walk up-hill! The others were disapointing. It was a little too much information sometimes, but interesting.

Well, unless you are so well read and able to decipher and comprehend the chronologics and detail of thousands of years of history on your own wandering through a large tourist attraction, then book this tour. Our guide, Simon, has an architectual background as well as thorough multi-year training and experience in guiding including current focus on the Acropolis and museum. We had a great introduction to Athens' history and an overview as conveyed by a guide that genuinely cared what his clientele were learning. So, Viator is a great tool for travelers and I'll bet that they know the company is only as good as their guides. And Simon is a great one 😊

It is very busy.
Wear good shoes and wear a hat. There are large crowds and being patient is a good way of coping with the Muppets that walk slow.

The Acropolis and museum tour was well worth it. Definitely take either the 8am tour or one after 5pm. It gets much busier as the morning goes by until late afternoon. The museum is worth visiting as well. I recommend doing both with a tour. Our tour guide was Ellie. She is extremely knowledgable. She brought the history to life. She made it interesting and fun. I highly recommend this tour.

A great tour. Very informative, very eye opening, very cool. There’s just nothing like it. Bring good walking shoes with grip—the stones at the acropolis are very slippery from use over time. Also be prepared to walk a lot. There were several people on my tour who couldn’t take all the walking and standing for several hours in the heat.

Expect the tour to start long after your appointed time. With a crowded, disorganized check-in process, even the earliest 7:50 time slot didn't enter the site until 8:30. The museum portion started at 11:30. Our guide was charming and knowledgeable, but the company books far more people than it can handle. Hard not to take off points for the site, itself: congested, slippery, uneven, and dangerous. Seniors should be particularly wary.
Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Plenty of time in the museum and great views of Acropolis at sunset.

Booked this trip last minute, was well worth it. Guide was very good and knowledgeable, took her time to lead us up to the Acropolis, for me I would have liked a little more time to look around at the top, but as had booked the museum part as well there were time constraints.

This was a fantastic tour, was much better than we ever expected. Easy to book, the tour guide was local and so knowledgeable.
