When you book the option without entrance tickets, ask for instructions about the correct time slot of the tickets, before you buy them on you own.

- Entrance tickets: If you booked with tickets, your guide will hand them to you at the meeting point. If you booked without tickets, please buy them online at least 24h in advance (ask us for the correct time slot), or you may purchase them from us (30€ Acropolis / 20€ Museum per person, adult tickets only) only if you notify us, at least 24h in advance, to ensure availability.

- Meeting point: Athenian Tours Office, Mitseon 2, 11742 Athens (short walk from Acropolis Metro). From the Port of Piraeus allow 30–40 minutes by taxi, longer in morning traffic
- The Acropolis is on a steep hill; some paths are slippery when wet
- Bring water, hat, sunglasses, and umbrella if it rains (no cafés on site, only a water fountain)
- Audio quality may occasionally be affected by other groups’ equipment
- Please note: On days when the Acropolis or Acropolis Museum offers free entry, our tour prices are adjusted accordingly, ensuring you are not charged for these complimentary tickets.

- The tour lasts 1.5–2 hours for the Acropolis only, or 3–4 hours for the Acropolis & Acropolis Museum, depending on the group's pace and weather conditions

Angel was amazing. He was humorous and entertaining. We had a scenic photo stop in front of the acropolis. He also showed us sites representing the history of Athens. Highly recommended!!!
Our tour guide Alexia was amazing. She knew all there was to know about the Acropolis. She made the tour fun, entertaining and we left with a lot of knowledge on Greek language, mythology amd history. Shame we didnt book the musuem tour to keep listening to her!
Everything was well organized and communication from the organizer was great. The tour was excellent and was very interesting Guide was exceptional and shared a lot of great history and information about Greece and Acropolis site. . I would highly recommend this tour.
A great tour. Very informative, very eye opening, very cool. There’s just nothing like it. Bring good walking shoes with grip—the stones at the acropolis are very slippery from use over time. Also be prepared to walk a lot. There were several people on my tour who couldn’t take all the walking and standing for several hours in the heat.
Expect the tour to start long after your appointed time. With a crowded, disorganized check-in process, even the earliest 7:50 time slot didn't enter the site until 8:30. The museum portion started at 11:30. Our guide was charming and knowledgeable, but the company books far more people than it can handle. Hard not to take off points for the site, itself: congested, slippery, uneven, and dangerous. Seniors should be particularly wary.
Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Plenty of time in the museum and great views of Acropolis at sunset.
The walk up to the Parthenon is not advisable for elderly people with heart conditions. Take water with you.
Our English speaking Greek born guide Natasha provided an in-depth history of the various sites that was easy to follow and provided an insight into the challenges they faced and the ingenuity they used to achieve the unbelievable results before us. Natasha delivered all this in a friendly, professional manner.
Tour guide Simon was great. Very informative and spend time with us until closing of the Acropolis. A+ tour
Booked this trip last minute, was well worth it. Guide was very good and knowledgeable, took her time to lead us up to the Acropolis, for me I would have liked a little more time to look around at the top, but as had booked the museum part as well there were time constraints.

This was a fantastic tour, was much better than we ever expected. Easy to book, the tour guide was local and so knowledgeable. She was amazing at what she did, told us much more then I thought we’d hear and made the tour so enjoyable. There are a lot of steps involved with uneven pathways which can be slippery so make sure you wear good shoes. It is extremely busy. There is disabled access with a lift.
Guide Peter was very informative and knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions. The museum is definitely worth a visit.

The tour itself was great. Alexis with Athenian Tours was awesome! However, I would not buy this tour through Viator again. The purchasing options are VERY confusing on what is and is not included in the tour. Bad experience with Viator, great tour in general

Elie our tour guide was the best we have ever had. I can’t recommend her enough. She is so knowledgeable, entertaining, made sure we were in the shade, weave through the crowds and gave us great food recommendations for the rest of her stay.
