Was phenomenal! He made the whole tour memorable and fascinating!! He truly knows his history and made our experience wonderful.
There is a lot of walking. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. Listen to your guide as they will make sure you get plenty of opportunities for pictures.

This was a fantastic trip to a must see landmark in Athens whether you are interested in history or not. Be warned-there is a lot of walking up hill and over uneven ground so wear comfortable shoes and loose clothing. Bring water and snacks as you are outside for a long time and there is nowhere to stop for refreshments. Overall a fascinating trip and our guide was lovely and explained everything really well-I think she was called Natasha. She asked if anyone had questions and was very knowledgeable with a pleasant manner

Wear good walking shoes! Be prepared to first walk to the office to meet with your guide. If you are like us we walked an extra 3/4 of a mile. Perhaps asking if you can meet at your hotel is a better option. Ask for Margaret - she is the best!

No visit to Athens is complete with a tour to Acropolis Hill. We booked a tour with Athenian Tours through Viator. Our guide was Angeliki (Angel) and we recommend requesting her. Angel is fantastic. A very experienced guide who has taken the time to write a tour that is thorough, easy to understand and supported by a picture book she created that shows what exactly one is looking at in the ruins depicted in its original form. Be prepared to walk up - and down - a rocky path to the top of the HIll to see the Parthenon and other structures. Be SURE to have shoes with firm sole grips, especially if there is any inclement weather. we were there in spring when the weather was cool and were comfortable, but in the summer in would be tough and you will definitely need a hat for shade and protection. But well worth it. Thank you, Angeliki and Athenian tours. THe whisper devices with ear phones are perfect to understand all the guide is saying and to walk at one's own pace while still hearing everything being said. Also, the Guided tour of the Museum was excellent. The museum is amazing! FIrst class, but could be overwhelming with the amount of artifacts there. Really appreciated having the expertise of Angeliki on our first visit to the Museum.

Excellent tour. A bit over 4 hours with our guide Jordan who really knew his stuff. Lots of walking but with opportunities to sit & rest. Jordan provided detailed commentary on history, culture, and many nuances on the sculpture & art. Very worthwhile; highly recommended.

Visiting the Acropolis was a great experience. Our Guide Anna was excellent, so knowledgeable, very professional and she made the whole experience interesting & enjoyable. The climb was well paced so everyone including retirees like ourselves could keep up and did not fall behind. The tour is just right in terms of length of time, it will take approximately 4 hours for you to do the tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. The museum is well worth the ticket fee if only for the sight of the marvelous Caryatids.
Our guide Petros was very knowledgeable and had a very fun and engaging storytelling style.
I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Athens for the first time and especially for a short visit.
