Moors and Pena prep for steps

Lots of climbing rocky and stone steps. Go in nice weather. Not too hot a day. Bring jacket for wind or cooler air on mountain. Moors castle moderate climb. Peña not as bad but both nice to see. If had to choose one, see Peña for history and beauty. Walk the garden if you can and ask to see the duck ponds. Slippery path at times. Clean restrooms were nice. This tour guide was full of historical info and a plant lover like me so the garden was a treat!

Loved this tour!

Jorge picked us up at our hotel and was immediately our best friend! We got to Sintra and even though it was cold, windy and foggy, we had the best time. It’s absolutely beautiful there and Jorge is incredibly knowledge about the layout and the history of the area. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, I am so happy we decided to book this! Would do it again and again!
