Great tour with Esmil!

A fabulous visit!
Fransisco was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and informative. He was very patient with my creaky old knee and we made it all the way to the top of the castle!!
He also knows all the tricks to eliminate time in line at the palace, which was amazing! Thank you for a great afternoon.

A fantastic day on a private tour to Sintra, Moorish Castle, and Pena Palace
Danilo was a fantastic tour guide taking us to Sintra, the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace! He explained the history and gave us the inside story on many of the statues, paintings and artifacts which made the day more enjoyable. He directed us to the best photo spots and was very patient with our group. A private tour is the way to go and ask for Danilo!

Be prepared for a lot of walking up steep stairs upon the stabilized ruins.
If hiking to the castle, bring comfortable and sturdy shoes, water, and sun protection.
The castle is not accessible to wheelchair users.
