Best way to see and learn about Sintra and Portugal. Diago makes it a fun time driving around in his vintage Jeep while showing points of interest and stopping at perfect spots with great views.

We had the most wonderful day with Manuel. He picked us up in this awesome little convertible and off we went on our adventures. The sights we saw were amazing, the coast is so beautiful, and Manuel was charming as well as very informative. I highly recommend this trip and our guide. You will not be disappointed.

If you value a thoughtful, knowledgeable and personalized tour of Sintra Portugal this one is for you! Our tour guide Diogo was gracious, and went the extra mile to be sure that our experience was memorable and fun-filled. His responsive texts in advance to arrange transport in a comfortable minivan instead of vintage car, greatly accomodated my tall husband and assured his comfort due to problems walking. This openness to assist us right from the start was very much appreciated and the tour itself was personal and amazing! Diogo was considerate and helpful throughout and we learned so much about the region through his colorful stories and folklore. The narrative was outstanding, complete with historical pictures to give depth and understanding of the rich culture. We laughed, took plenty of pictures, learned a lot and ended with a small keepsake gift of our adventure... a beautiful and generous added touch! I am so very glad that we found the 'Private Local Tour: Palaces & Coast by Classic Car or Jeep' tour company. We truly enjoyed our experience and would not have wanted to tour Sintra any other way!

Loads of fun with our guide Diogo today. Showed us really nice local spots on the coast, then brought us to see sights of the palaces in the mountains. Tons of great stories and interesting facts about the areas from a local. Would recommend 10/10.

The tour was informative and funny. Our guide had grown up in the area, so not only did we learn about the history of Sintra, we felt like we were offered some local insight as well. He was adaptable to our needs and made sure we got the best photos.

Our tour with Diogo was a true highlight of our two weeks in Portugal! Diogo is a Sintra native who knows all of the best places, including secret spots with amazing views! He is very engaging, accommodating of special requests and truly gets to know his guests. It was a huge advantage having a local who grew up and still lives in Sintra show us around the area and share stories, antidotes, and recommendations throughout the day. We enjoyed all of the history and interesting information that Diogo shared with us while he drove us in a super cool vintage convertible all around the mountain and over to the coast. Having Diogo as our guide was like hanging out with a very knowledgeable friend with a great sense of humor! We have already recommended this tour to friends who are coming to Portugal this summer, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to explore, experience and learn about the Sintra area with the very best! Manuel was pur guide and he was amazing. He was knowledgable and answered all of our little questions. He even helped me with my learning Portugese. Alll in all it was a wonderful day. He even showed us the quaint little shops to enjoy your Pasteles de Nata.

We did a tour of Lisbon and Cascias with Alberto and Sinatra with Diogo. Both were amazing - the guides gave us a historical over view and took us to the must see sites
We never would have experienced this beautiful country on our own to this degree. We could have just been walking around the area outside our hotel - like a tourist. Highly recommend both gentleman !

What an amazing way to spend a day outside the city! Sintra and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Our tour guide was Sarah, she was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the sights we were seeing. We took the train from Rossio station which was super easy to do, met Sarah outside the station. We made our way to Pena Palace, luckily it wasn’t super busy. Got about an hour or so to wander on our own. Then back in the car to Capo Da Roca for amazing views at the western most point of continental Europe. There’s a little snack bar there where you can grab a bite to eat as there’s not time for a formal lunch spot. The third and final stop was at an amazing beach/fishing village that had beautiful views. Sarah was a great guide and we really enjoyed our day with her and learning all about the history of Sintra.

This was an excellent day spent sight seeing around Sintra. We saw all the highlights that draws people to this very beautiful area but our driver gave us an ongoing history lesson at the same time. Day well spent

We are so happy we booked this tour. Diogo was friendly and took the time to show us ALL around Sintra. We absolutely loved it. The car he picked us up in was clean and open top to enjoy the sun and views. He picked us up right on time. We got to see the sights at a relaxed pace, and he let us get out and take some great pics at the sights. Diogo was proud of being born and raised in Sintra and has a load of knowledge to share about his town. His English is great and we laughed, sang, and had a great time throughout the day. When the tour was over, he offered to drop us in the middle of town so we could explore and gave us some great places to check out before we went on our way back to Lisbon. I totally recommend you book this tour. 5 star!! A must if you are going to Sintra!

We had a great few hours with Manuel. The jeep ride was fun and was an awesome way to get around the area. We got to see Sintra and the surrounding area. Our favorite part was going to the coast. Absolutely beautiful.

My trip was booked on the day after a destructive storm hit Portugal. The mountain and attractions in Sintra were mostly closed because of the devastation. Diogo was promptly on the phone early in the morning of my tour day to discuss my options, which for me, were postpone, (not an option in my case) cancel, or a modified tour. I chose the latter and made the most of my day trip. Due to the weather I did not get to experience a classic car, but safety and comfort is more important in unstable conditions. Would love to have another opportunity to discover more of Sintra. Manuel was a gracious and kind tour guide, easy to chat to and made the day so pleasant.

Manuel was super nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable tour guide as he is born and raised in Sintra. Lots of fun historical stories, lots of unique spots for great pictures, and you get to see the tip of the coast of Portugal and the Atlantic ocean. Cute little car with a personal feel. Really amazing experience. Diogo was very accommodating about customizing the tour so we could end somewhere specific. Our tour guide Manuel was very knowledgeable about Sintra and its history. He pointed out things we were interested in and helped my mom along steep inclines. The car was very cute and a nice way to see the sights! I would highly recommend this tour as it’s a great way to see the highlights of Sintra and truly a one of a kind experience.
