This was an excellent day spent sight seeing around Sintra. We saw all the highlights that draws people to this very beautiful area but our driver gave us an ongoing history lesson at the same time. Day well spent

We are so happy we booked this tour. Diogo was friendly and took the time to show us ALL around Sintra. We absolutely loved it. The car he picked us up in was clean and open top to enjoy the sun and views. He picked us up right on time. We got to see the sights at a relaxed pace, and he let us get out and take some great pics at the sights. Diogo was proud of being born and raised in Sintra and has a load of knowledge to share about his town. His English is great and we laughed, sang, and had a great time throughout the day. When the tour was over, he offered to drop us in the middle of town so we could explore and gave us some great places to check out before we went on our way back to Lisbon. I totally recommend you book this tour. 5 star!! A must if you are going to Sintra!

We had a great few hours with Manuel. The jeep ride was fun and was an awesome way to get around the area. We got to see Sintra and the surrounding area. Our favorite part was going to the coast. Absolutely beautiful.

My trip was booked on the day after a destructive storm hit Portugal. The mountain and attractions in Sintra were mostly closed because of the devastation. Diogo was promptly on the phone early in the morning of my tour day to discuss my options, which for me, were postpone, (not an option in my case) cancel, or a modified tour. I chose the latter and made the most of my day trip. Due to the weather I did not get to experience a classic car, but safety and comfort is more important in unstable conditions. Would love to have another opportunity to discover more of Sintra. Manuel was a gracious and kind tour guide, easy to chat to and made the day so pleasant.

Manuel was super nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable tour guide as he is born and raised in Sintra. Lots of fun historical stories, lots of unique spots for great pictures, and you get to see the tip of the coast of Portugal and the Atlantic ocean. Cute little car with a personal feel. Highly recommended tour.

Really amazing experience. Diogo was very accommodating about customizing the tour so we could end somewhere specific. Our tour guide Manuel was very knowledgeable about Sintra and its history. He pointed out things we were interested in and helped my mom along steep inclines. The car was very cute and a nice way to see the sights! I would highly recommend this tour as it’s a great way to see the highlights of Sintra and truly a one of a kind experience.

This was my first time booking a private tour and was I ever pleasantly surprised!
My companion for the tour was Manuel. I chose that word intentionally as Manuel felt more like a friend showing me around his neighborhood and bringing me into his confidence sharing all of the interesting and juicy history facts versus the standard tour guide. He even taught me several Portuguese words - the one that stuck is how to order my new favorite treat, Pasteis de Bacalhau por favor 😋
I found the tour to be educational with breathtaking views, very laid back, and fun.
I fear Manuel has set the tour bar for me and I am now spoiled!

Diogo as a fabulous tour guide, customized our tour to exactly what we wanted to do and see. He took us to see monuments and palaces as well as the ocean and mountains. He is very knowledgeable and we learned so much history from him. Last but not least he recommended an amazing restaurant to go to at the end of the tour. I really appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary and the responsiveness of the tour operator to help us adjust the travel plans as we had to navigate our schedule around another organized group tour. If you are wanting a day trip from Lisbon to Sintra I can’t recommend this enough! We were picked up right from our hotel by Manuel and had the absolute best time. Exploring Sintra with a local in a cool car was the best experience. We were able to see the western most point on the European continent, Pena palace, and explore Sintra in so many different places.

A wonderful experience to get to see the broader Sintra area (not just the historic areas) and get a unique local’s perspective. Our guide, Diogo, was a wellspring of historical knowledge and we would wholeheartedly recommend him and his tour to anyone with an interest in the finer nuances of Portuguese history and culture. The open-air jeep ride through some of the more locals-only routes in Sintra were also a plus!

Catia was a great guide. She was fun, energetic and knowledgeable. We weren’t able to go to any castles due to fires, but we made the best of the time by visiting some great beaches and even got to go into some caves.

This tour was the perfect way to explore the beautiful town of Sintra! Diogo was a wonderful guide who had so much information about it's history and knew some great spots to stop at. I was able to request the green classic car and it was the best experience. I do wish that we got to stop closer at a few more of the villas and palaces, but know that in order to see all that Sintra has to offer, I'd have to spend more than a few hours in town. Thank you Diogo for making my birthday trip amazing!

Diogo was so welcoming and gave us the kind of tour we asked for - focus on food / drinks and where locals like to hang out. He delivered! We got a beautiful drive, stopped at a great lunch spot, stuck our feet in the water and finished up with drinks and snails. My husband said this was his favorite part of our trip to Portugal! We really appreciated how much time Diogo spent with us showing us around his hometown.
