The experience was absolutely amazing! Our guide was sensational, knowledgeable, professional and kept us well informed. Treated us with the upmost respect.
Sea lions, whales, and bears, oh my! This was the best day! We saw a whale breaching many times, a mother bear with three cubs, eagles, and sea lions all within the first hour. The ship is very nice and comfortable. Tad, the captain, was so nice and knowledgeable, just the most lovely day. 100/10 would recommend!

Whales, whales and more whales. We had the best day, the boat was beautiful and Capt. Tad explained everything we were seeing. Highly recommend this excursion. We saw a moon jellyfish at the dock, and sea lions, otters, but the humpback whales were the best.
We were more interested in orcas, sea lions, otters, seals, and eagles than humpbacks. Disappointed.
Captain was super knowledgeable and very friendly. Boat was super clean and comfortable. We got to see many wales including a Sow and Calf diving together. Then to top it off we got to spend time watching a Coastal Brown Bear and Cub up close as they searched for salmon on the shoreline. It was a special day for sure.
Our guide was excellent. Patiently rode around pointing out whales, sea lions, otters, and various other things. Wonderful tour. Should definitely check this one out in Sitka.
Unfortunately this event was cancelled due to rain and fog. We were really looking forward to but understand why it was canceled but we’re so down disappointed
Tad is an amazing Captain. He went out of his way to make sure we had an experience beyond our wildest dreams. We saw whales with their calves, sea lions, eagles, otters, and a mama brown bear with her 2 cubs. All along, Tad informed us about the local culture, history, and the importance of the local ecosystem. Very approachable, Tad made this a wonderful experience beyond our expectations. We recommend Tad highly and without hesitation.
We saw 2 humpbacks, a pod of orcas and otters which was the purpose of this excursion. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and informative.
We were running late from the ship, but they stuck around a few minutes to wait for us. Tad was a great guide and the scenery was amazing!

By far my family’s favorite excursion the whole cruise. Tad was an awesome guide, very informative and kind. The boat was very clean and comfortable. We saw lots of wildlife, humpback whales, sea otters, sea lions, and eagles. Once in a lifetime experience with the whales for sure!!!

Tad gave us a wonderful excursion where we saw whales, sea lions, and eagles. It was a small group and he was also very informative. Immediately we saw sea lions and soon after many whales sightings. Loved it!

Tad is a great captain and tries his very best to make sure you see everything out there. We saw several whales - including whale tails and a breaching whale. It was raining, but not too chilly. My husband and I mostly hung on and stood out back in the rain for the best views. It’s a smaller boat and that makes it a very cool experience. There were only four of us onboard.
While we did see a few whales on this tour, the conditions on the water did not allow for an incredible experience. I would recommend this tour only if whether conditions are good on the water.
Saw lots of whales, otters, cormorants. Met all my expectations. Small group of 6 people added to the experience. Great captain.
Very rough day on the water. We saw one “tail” in the distance. The guide tried but was unable to “show us the whales”

Wow, I remember this day. The weather was rough. Unfortunately I can’t change the weather system, and I can’t arrange wildlife. I tried very hard for you. In fact I even remember you tipping me at the end. I’m surprised you gave me a 1 star review.
This was such an amazing experience with. Chad as a captain, he looked for every place that he could find a whale, he was great!!

I was pleasantly surprised with this experience. There were only a total of 6 of us on this boat, which provided a really nice personal experience with the ship's captain .... I forgot his name, but he was a really nice guy. He took us to all the great spots to view Whales, Sea Lions and Otters. They also accommodated our time constraints well as lines to get back to our ship were extraordinarily long. They offered via email to take us straight back to port on an email, and I wish I had taken them up on it. He spent a lot of time with us, answered all our questions, he took pictures of us on his boat and we got to view some great shots of whales. I got plenty of shots of tails, and my son got to see a whale breach behind us. Definitely one of the highlights of our Alaskan Cruise.
Excellent captain Tad, clear with the expectation, rough water, time to get to the site of seeing sea lion, sea otters, hump back whale. Great explanation, extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The small group of 6 was fantastic Met our expectations as being a highlight of our Alaska trip.
