Awesome 🤩 went with my 5 and 11 y.o. We saw whales 🐋 having a splash. Best trip ever! The information was on point and you could tell they knew what they were doing and talking. All female crew btw! Grl pwr all the way ‼️🩷
The captain and crew were very knowledgeable. The boat was very nice, clean and spacious. We saw whales, sea otters, eagles and salmon. The scenery was beautiful. Would highly recommend.
Great experience with wonderful and educated guides. My family and I got to see salmon jumping, whales, bald eagles, jellyfish and otters. The whole experience was lovely and our guide had great facts to share.
Personal experience in a 10 person boat. Was able to listen to knowledge tour guide and saw everything from whales to sea otters to bald eagles to sea lions and even a bear. Comfortable ride and saw everything the tour intended for us to see.
Our whale and wildlife tour in Sitka was exceptional. We enjoyed an unusually sunny day on calm waters, with sightings of sea lions, sea otters, and several humpback whales at remarkably close range.
The all-female crew aboard the Raven made the experience even more memorable. Naturalist Karley was engaging, knowledgeable, and wonderfully attentive. After I mentioned my interest in puffins while boarding, she made a point of speaking with me about Sitka’s seabirds and showing me St. Lazaria Island. That personal touch exemplified the crew’s genuine enthusiasm for the region and its wildlife. Baylee and Brooke were equally warm, capable, and fun.
The beautiful conditions were a lucky bonus, but the outstanding crew is what truly elevated this excursion. An unforgettable day and an experience I would enthusiastically recommend to anyone visiting Sitka.
Good tour with knowledgeable guides. We were able to see eagles, otters, and luckily we even got very upclose with some whales.

Excellent tour that was guided by tour guides that were very detailed in giving us facts about the area and the wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see humpback whales on our tour. I highly recommend.
Highlight of our Alaskan cruise. Our guides welcomed us onboard and within 20 minutes we saw a humpback whale breach and probably a dozen other whales. More otters than you can believe along with sea lions and many other critters. Our guides were excited to be there as much as we were and also provided a ton of information about wildlife and the area. Worth every penny for sure.
We saw so many whales, otters, sea lions, eagles, jellyfish. Bring a coat to sit outside but you can warm up inside.
Incredible experience, although it might look like there’s a lot of people on this tour it really doesn’t feel crowded whatsoever
, there’s was the whole roof deck and the bow of the ship where we could watch whales, otters, and seals up close and personal, the crew made the experience easy and simple and very personal, it was very educational and beautiful, loved the tour overall and would recommend

Make sure to bring a warm jacket! The Raven was a wonderful vessel we went on got to see whales, otters, and seals. Staff were awesome and very accommodating!!!!

We had a fantastic time in this tour. We saw whales , sea lions , Sea otters . The boat was comfortable and big. It did not feel crowded.
Carly, Dave and Bailey did a great job. Very informative and we saw six whales along with sea otters and sea lions. It’s never 100% to see whales but it would have been a good time either way. It was a very Alaskan day, rainy and mid 50s, was thankful for the coffee!
Absolutely fantastic! Captain Bailey, Carly and Dave did an amazing job and we saw SO many humpback whales, otters and sea lions. One of the best excursions we've ever done after 30+ cruises.

Jordan and Siya went out of their way to make the trip fun and educational. We saw sea otters, sea lions, gray whales, and an eagle's nest. The crew annswere call of our questions and taught us a lot.

Loved being able to see a whale, otters, sea lions, eagles. The naturalist on the ship was awesome. She had interesting information about the animals that adults and a 5 year old enjoyed. Would definitely do this tour again!

We saw a few whales from a distance and saw many sea otters. I would have liked to have seen more whales.

We were on the Raven with Captain Bailey, Karley, and Dave. The boat is clean and comfortable with complimentary hot coffee, tea, chocolate, and donut holes. Karley is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. I couldn’t think of a more enjoyable way to see whales, sea lions, and sea otters. It’s our first trip to Alaska and all we hoped it would be.
