We had a great time in our cruise excursion. We got to see a lot of wildlife and had great boat captain and guide. The whales weren't terribly cooperative, but we saw plenty of other animals to keep us engaged.
Also a great boat. We saw a lot of tours on a small inflatable boats. While that may be exciting it would also be a bit cold in May. We had a nice boat with covered seats and it was easy enough to go out on the bow on up top when we needed a closer look.

Absolutely fantastic! Captain Bailey, Carly and Dave did an amazing job and we saw SO many humpback whales, otters and sea lions. One of the best excursions we've ever done after 30+ cruises.

Jordan and Siya went out of their way to make the trip fun and educational. We saw sea otters, sea lions, gray whales, and an eagle's nest. The crew annswere call of our questions and taught us a lot.

The staff was very organized and knowledgeable. The vessel was clean. We appreciated the binoculars to use. Glad to see the wildlife.

Loved being able to see a whale, otters, sea lions, eagles. The naturalist on the ship was awesome. She had interesting information about the animals that adults and a 5 year old enjoyed. Would definitely do this tour again!

Great tour. Tour guide (Will) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Saw humpback whales, sea lion, sea otters, bald eagles and more. Well worth it!!!!

We were on the Raven with Captain Bailey, Karley, and Dave. The boat is clean and comfortable with complimentary hot coffee, tea, chocolate, and donut holes. Karley is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. I couldn’t think of a more enjoyable way to see whales, sea lions, and sea otters. It’s our first trip to Alaska and all we hoped it would be.

It was everything we were told it would be. Very fancy boat, great crew and most of all saw whales, otters, eagles, and seals. Great views of the mountains!!

The naturalist was very knowledgable and a good communicator. The length (2hrs) was good, the seating was comfortable and viewing areas excellent. The ship was of a split hull design (catamaran) and this design provided smoother boating than a V-hull design . It was a first rate experience for our family of seven. We even saw whales and sea otters.

Crew was excellent. Boat ride was good. We were able to see sea lions, otters, and bald eagles. NO whales, which was disappointing.

Crew was friendly. The on-board naturalist gave us great information about the aquatic animals. We saw Humpbacks, seals and sea otters. The boat was nice clean, and well kept. They have a few binoculars to borrow but you might want to bring your own. Nice experience.

As per the guide, whales are not in the Sitka area until August/September. Saw one Eagle, a buoy with Sea Lions, and a group of Sea Otters. A $318 boat trip in the straights.

Had an amazing time enjoying the Alaskan nature. We got to see some sea lion, family of sea otters, and a slight whale sighting. The captain did try to spend quite some time waiting for the whale to pop up. The crew (Karley, Nameda, Connor, and Captian Bailey were very friendly. We were lucky to get the sun as well.
