Good driver and guide. Got us to where we needed to be on-time and was very joyful to be around. Appreciated.

You won't be disappointed. We checked in with Missy, she answered all our questions about what we would see she was fun. Greg was our tour guide and very informative. He is very knowledgeable about the area. We saw the Raptor Rescue, Bear Rescue, salmon spawning in the Indian River and the Totem Forest. These are must see sights.

Comprehensive and driver Jim was funny and conscientious. Itineraries were good . Ample time to shop after tour .

Weather was threatening but we went and skies were sunny! This was my partner's favorite part of trip. Our guide JIM was amazing. He made the trip interesting, and informative and fun. He took me under his wing and cared of me as I had an arm injury. The Totems story I did not know or how they are carved and erected. The Indian Totem carver added so much to the information. Next on to the Raptors - what a thrill to see the efforts being made to help their survival. Birds were amazingly HUGE! Lastly a trip to a similar rescue for the bears Center. It's all bigger in Alaska! We were able to stand next to the bears when they stood up. You do not want to meet any of these bears in the woods. What a day with Viator guide Jim and the team that put this tour together. Don't miss it. Thank you

Great information from our guide
And bonus he took us back to our ship so we didn't have to wait for the shuttle bus.

We visited all sites with about 30 minutes per stop. Christian our driver took us to the sites and then we found local site guides for more information. Highly recommend if you have limited time.

Great day out visiting the bears at the fortress. Visiting the raptor centre was very informative about rehabilitating the injured birds. The heritage centre was great to view the totem poles.

The perfect tour to see wildlife in Alaska — salmon, pine forests, brown and black bears, eagles, hawks, owls.
William_T, Sep 2025
Our tour guide Greg was great. Very informative on the site and historical places en route, we were very pleased with this one .
Susan_M, Sep 2025
Small personalized group made this even better. Book the last tour of the day and you get dropped at the dock and skip the long shuttle line.

I think of it as the sampler platter a little bit of everything l. Had a great time! Would love to return for a more in depth visit.

Excellent experience- saw so much in a shorty time. Larry was a great guide and imparted a lot of local knowledge. I highly recommend this excursion.
Maribeth_M, Aug 2025
Our excursion was wonderful. We were greeted by our tour guide, Syd, His van held eight passengers and very comfortable. His knowledge of Sitka was fantastic . It was a true plus having a guide that grew up in Sitka. My husband has mobility issues and Syd zoomed in on him immediately. He made the tour very easy for him. The bears, adorable. The eagles so stately and the history of salmon was fascinating. The town of Stika was very welcoming and we hope to return in the future. Super excursion. Highly recommend.
Karly_W, Aug 2025
It was ok, feel it’s a lot overpriced like we could’ve gotten to a lot of the places on our own but the guy was nice. The only place hard to get to on your own is the bear fortress.
sally_c, Aug 2025
Katie our guide, was lovely. She is a local guide with a wealth of knowledge about the area of Sitka. Highly reccomend this.
Elizabeth_L, Aug 2025
The tour meeting location and name is buried in the "notes" section. No helpfull guidance that says Baranof Tours. So we walked back and forth, trying to find our tour. Very frustrating!
CHAYA_G, Aug 2025
You got it all in this tour: Beauty of Sitka, breathless sceneries, birds and fish close-up, and the climax was the viewing of the bears. The guide was knowledgeable and super cool.
Terri_G, Aug 2025
All of the must see sites in Sitka, not walking distance from cruise pier, with interesting narration from an informative an entertaining local.
Roseann_M, Aug 2025
Wonderful to see life. Loved everything about the stops. The raptor was amazing , how they cared for the birds and nurtured them back to health
Dan_B, Aug 2025
Great chance to get up close to some amazing trees in the Tongass forest. Ritch was an exceptional guide.
Shirley_V, Aug 2025
Great Tour. Totem Pole stop was not very impressive. Bear encounter was awesome. Eagle stop was good.
