We provide round trip transportation at the location of your choice. Start times are flexible, as we work around your arrival time in Sitka and your desired hike time! Once you book, we can arrange pickup time. Meeting location at cruise terminal: once off the ship, head up the main ramp towards the bus terminal. When you reach the set of stairs, look right for the green flags that say 'E Bikes'. We will meet you in front of those flags.

Our hike was incredible, largely in part to our guide, Laura!! Laura was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, patient and wonderful! The hike was beautiful, we even ate fresh berries along the way, can't get much better than that. She tailored the hike to our skill level which was perfect! The scenery was stunning. I would absolutely recommend!!!

Great experience. There was a small hiccup with the meeting time, but it all worked out. We met with Lilli for our guided hike, and I had an amazing time. Beautiful area with top notch scenery, even with the rain! Definitely would recommend this excursion but also ensure you're relatively fit because most all of the area is going to have you doing some climbing/hiking UP! ;)

LAURA IS THE BEST from the time of booking Laura communicated in a timely and efficient manner. Our hike was fantastic in spite of less than perfect weather. She had a back up plan ( a visit to the local Fortress of the Bear- which was spectacular ) while we waited out some serious rain. Laura is the perfect guide sharing local history/knowledge , ensuring our safety and comfort at all times - in addition to being friendly and fun. A first class experience for our whole family(parents and adult kids).

Chase was an experienced guide. We had different levels of hiking experience and we did not know the area at all. He was very passionate about Sitka and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The chosen hike was perfect for our group!

Chase was a knowledgeable and incredibly kind presence. Our hike around Beaver Lake (and in the shadow of Bear Mountain) was perfectly calibrated for intermediate-level hikers—some climbing, enough to get us working for the views, but not too much. Gorgeous Old Growth forest makes you appreciate what’s most precious in this world—a landscape to treasure, enjoy, protect.

It was truly an amazing experience hiking into the forest of Bear Mountain, alongside the waterfall and creeks, and around the lake. I’m so glad this was the excursion I chose at Sitka for our cruise trip. It couldn’t have been better. The sceneries are just awe-inspiring. Colton was a great guide, very gentle and thoughtful and knowledgeable, also great with kids. We learned so much about native plants, and were eating wild berries along the way. I had my 14 and 12 year-old boys with me. We all loved this hike so much. I would highly recommend this experience!

Emily our tour guide was wonderful, we did the Beaver Lake hike and it was beautiful and quiet. Felt like we were all alone out there in the wilderness. First few minutes is steep but then its a nice stroll!
