If you have kids, or maybe a young artist or maybe an extra day in Rome and you want to try art instead of seeing it…. THIS should be on your to do list!!!!! An OUTSTANDING experience!!! We met our lovely guild at Castle S Angelo right over the bridge of angels. She expertly guided us throughout the castle and gave us information, then showed us mosaics inside. Side note: Amazing views of the city and river! (Pictures) And coffee and sweets overlooking the Vatican !!!!! (Ofc not included in your, but you can purchase if you want) After, we walked to the studio- just a block or two away. The studio is called Michelangelo for a Day. We then met with our artist who gave us a mini lesson on the products and process of making mosaics. We each walked away with a mosaic of our own, that we make! What a unique keepsake from Rome.
