Great way to experience the catacombs and Appian Way

A tremendous experience, well worth the price. The driver and guide met us at our hotel and dropped us off again at the end. The vehicle was very comfortable. The tour through the catacombs was fascinating. As this was a private tour, the guide could take us to areas that group tours do not go because of size. In many parts we were the only ones there. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information that helped us really appreciate the site. We spent time next driving to and then walking along the Appian Way with the guide explaining a lot about the things we saw and answered all questions thoroughly. Private tours are more expensive. But if you can afford it, it will enhance your overall visit to sites like these.
