*Saint Peter’s Basilica is closed on most Wednesdays mornings due to the weekly Papal Audience. If you book this tour for a Wednesday the time inside the Vatican Museums will be extended.

LivTours does an exceptional job. The tour was the right length- our 9 year old was interested in all of it and stayed interested despite the crowds and very sophisticated setting. Our 6 year old was less enthusiastic, but that’s just him. It was very doable and I felt we were able to get a real taste for the Vatican in a time frame that was reasonable for young kids- it would have been difficult and probably miserable without Veronica who knew the ins and outs, knew all the key information, and knew the guards and how to keep us from getting caught in crowds and lines! LivTours will be my first choice every time for tours with kids.

Marco was a fantastic and engaging storyteller and guide for our family, kids ages 16 and 11. He really brought the Sistine chapel and some key artifacts in the Vatican museum and St Peter’s to life, and gave us a good overview of key features of the Vatican. While my kids were less interested in this site than others on our trip, Marco really made this important site come to life through his stories and pictures that he brought on his iPad. Marco was highly knowledgeable and we would definitely recommend this tour with Marco! We all learned so much!

Visite décevante. J'avais choisi cette visite car je trouvais très intéressant de faire découvrir le Vatican a travers une chasse au trésor. Il n'y a pas eu de chasse au trésor. La guide a remis un cahier en anglais aux enfants. Nous sommes français donc aucun intérêt. Je pensais que les enfants allaient chercher des parties de tableau ou de sculpture. La guide est sûrement très cultivé e mais je n'ai pas trouvé que son discours étaient fait pour captiver les enfants. De plus, nous devions faire la basilique St Pierre. La porte donnant accès à la basilique étant fermée depuis 2020, il aurait été souhaitable que cela soit précisé dans le descriptif,car après un long chemin à travers le Vatican où il faut faire beaucoup de détour à cause du COVID, les enfants ne pouvaient plus faire plusieurs kilomètres pour rejoindre st pierre. Au final des cadeaux remis aux enfants mais sans chasse au trésor. Un puzzle de 300 pièces, totalement impossible à faire pour des enfants de 6 et 8 ans. Nous avons payé 476 euros pour cette visite. Le prix n'est en rien justifié. Extrêmement déçue.
