Please note that the Vatican Museums provide free entrance for visitors who are (according to the requirements stated by the Vatican City) at least 74% disabled by presenting the appropriate certification and, if one needs assistance by another person, that person also receives a free entrance. Please inform us when you are booking if you fit into these requirements and we will remove the pricing of the entry tickets from the price of the tour.

As this is a walking tour with steps and staircases, comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
Please advise during the booking process if any clients have mobility concerns so that we can best accommodate you.
At the end of your tour, you are required to return the headset provided to you to your guide. In the event that you do not return the headset, you will be subject to a fine of €100 for lost property.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or government issued photo ID that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Vatican Museums.
Due to the Jubilee, some monuments may be under restoration. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.

Private tour blew us away

To say our private tour was excellent would be an understatement. Tom our tour guide made our experience once in a lifetime. He was super personable and really geared the tour to our interests and really went above and beyond. We wish Tom was our guide for anything and everything offered in Rome. St. Peter's Basilica was closed during our visit but he made up for that by showing us the painting exhibits offered by the Vatican that wasn't usually shown on the 3 hour tour. I would highly highly recommend a tour with Tom to anyone that visits Rome.

Diep in-depth tour with experience guide to areas not normally seen

Amazing, nice, experienced guide who is especially good with kids knowing how to modulate the tour and find things that be interesting for them, like mommies and other stories to keep their interest. She even had blister bandages for one of my daughters. I’ve never met a tour guy who’s had that. Ulla was great. Oh yes and of course we got to see a lot more things on the Vatican than the first time we went by ourselves and got one of the audio guides, with no waiting. Highly recommend the tour. So far everything we’ve done with Viator has been awesome.
