Good guide. The app and the ticket access process doesn’t work well and added unnecessary stress. No Raphael Rooms on the tour was a disappointment.

They should know the history of the Vatican City without too preachy . They started on time where they start. Very informative. After giving you ticket in the Vatican museum, they give a headset so you can hear the guide spoken in english and you keep up. The guide will tell you what to do and not to do. Don't get lost!
The place is crowded, loud , very busy and tightly run. As for dress, shoulder have to be covered and there are some areas you don't wear your hat. Wear long pants just in case.
You won't see the pope but the tour and the experience is enough

Enjoyed learning and experiencing the Vatican. St. Peter’s Basilica was beautiful. We were not able to go into Sistine Chaple due to the Conclave.

The tour was 90% the museum, we expected more time in the sistine chapel and a tour of the basilica. unfortunately, the time was not budgeted to our expectations. we had unlimited time to go through the basilica which was nice. but we would have loved a tour. Just wish we got more time seeing the things we wanted to visit, and less time on the museum part.

Ok… so only giving two stars is due to the fact that the tour guide had such a heavy accent she was nearly impossible to understand. She spoke very quickly. When you have a heavy accent, you need to slow down and enunciate better. It was super distracting & made the tour not as enjoyable. Having said that, as far as I could tell, with the times I did understand, she is very knowledgeable. I feel like these tours are the best way to get in a see attractions.. so, I would do it again; but hope for a guide that actually speaks clear English.

The tour was visually stimulating, however, the whisper devices were not very clear and the guide would either hold it so close that it sounded shrieks or so far away that it faded. Her English could also be improved.

It was a zoo. Couldn’t find the tour guide. They stand with a small sign which is hard to find and so many tour guide and so many people that by the time we found another tour guide of the same company, she stated that our tour has already left. So we missed the tour

Great tour and pace. It felt looong but we covered a lot of ground. Guide directed our attention to the key parts and provided great history for us throughout. However, guide spoke fast with thick accent making it difficult to understand her. Jt got better later in tour so suggest she slow down to allow us to keep up with what she’s saying.
Price felt expensive for what jt was but skip the line was valuable!

Our tour guide was fantastic and did all he could to enhance the experience. With the amount of tours happening simultaneously it was too jammed so as we walked through the rooms we didn’t get a chance to really enjoy the artifacts.

This tour seemed a bit disorganised. We waited for people who were late and ended up in a really long line. We needed to get headphones there and give them back and get new ones in the basilica. This wasted a great deal of time as lots of them didn’t work. Our guide was fabulous through the museum, but if you are not aware the trip to the Sistine chapel takes a lot of time, nothing to do with our guide just very long, we were pretty rushed for the basilica though as the headphone issue cost us some time - in the beating sun. A number of guests gave up and left at that point. The basilica itself was disappointing the alter and Pieta were covered (and blocked the dome a bit) for restoration for the jubilee - two biggest features in there in my opinion so left disappointed - not the tour or guides fault but may have been nice to know this before we went in so we could decide whether or not to go in.

Seeing St Peter's Square and the Sistine Chapel were the highlights. Our tour guide took too long explaining what we would be seeing and then rushing us through the museum without enough time to really enjoy the experience.

we have a rough start with our guide forgetting the documents , leaving us alone to get it for a few minutes. we started late but the guide stayed later as well, so that's a plus. appreciated. having done other tours, the guide could have explained and showed more. for some bits it was very boring. but overall, was average

Our guide was very considerate with the disability of my husband and when possible made conscious decisions on the pace and stairs. She was concerned with one of our group members almost fainting with the heat. She was very informative of the Vatican. Would book this tour again.

I think the Sistine Chapel is a must. BUT. This is VERY LONG and by the time you get into the chapel - most people (esp kids) lose interest… which is a shame.
Had I known, I would have ordered to do the Chapel only and not get there exhausted because of the museum which is not the reason most people book this tour.
Guide was okay - but that silly over the one ear earpiece does not help.
