It was a very good tour and the tour guide was very knowledgable and fun. The build up to the tour wasn’t great. I booked a 4.45pm tour and when I landed in Rome around midday I had missed calls and texts stating I had not been at the tour and asking where I was. I Contacted the tour and stated I had a 4.45 ticket and sent them a copy. They said they had a Spanish tour at 4.45 and not English and to join the tour the next morning. I explained this was not possible as I had another tour booked. We attended the original tour I booked and it was not easy to find but the tour operator was helpful in guiding us there by text. On arrival the tour was explained in English and Spanish so we were very pleased on the whole. Just a shame it brought unnecessary stress to the beginning of our holiday. We would however recommend the tour as the guide was fantastic! Thank you

Do not buy this excursion through here. tickets can be purchased at the stadium itself for 18EURO /11EURO for child, paying this amount advertised here make me feel sick, how it could be even allowed. I paid £130 comparing to 58EURO on door( you still have guide if you buy ticked on door) - but i seen nothing what advertised on VIATOR, as stadium is very busy and access to changing rooms, stadium, entry door - denied, full oof boxes for concerts, look awfull. What you see on profile photo of this excursion - you wont see in reality...there...and taking into account extraordinary price - its just awful feeling The worst experience i ever had and by far i feel ripped off. I asked for refund -and Viator is looking into it, trust this be passed on to tour guide back in Rome to ensure there are no travelers like me, paying soo much for literally nothing, just seeing seats frm very top row - that is all i seen, not even grass, not even 1m of grass i seen - my kids were extremely disappointing -they class Rome stadium the worst they seen in their life, and they visited few. Awful experience, hope to get some refund, if not will be reporting this to Ombudsman.

We were very disappointed. Messaged a few days before to say the time had moved from 4.45 to 4.30.. on the day we were called an hour before to say it had moved to 4pm. Luckily we were in the area. Struggled to find the meeting point. The tour itself was very rushed, a singer was performing the next day so we could not see the pitch and one of the changing rooms was affected.

Completely over priced. Said skip the cue but there was no cue anyway. The tour was walk around the grounds for 30 mins before the stadium then basically into the briefing room watch a 20 second video then go in the dressing rooms, about 2 mins in each , into the corporate seats and finished . They slid open the doors to the walk out tunnel only 30cm so you had to peak through and you couldn’t go in there. We couldn't see really. We were stood around for ages in common areas but then we were rushed through the bits we wanted to see. it was really disorganised. We should have just go to general admission and walked around ourselves . Really disappointed.

We booked the "Olympic Stadium Tour Express - Skip the Line" for July 8, 2025, through Viator, hoping for a smooth and enjoyable experience. What we got instead was significant stress and a highly unprofessional start to our tour. Despite our booking confirmation stating one meeting point, we received a last-minute change via WhatsApp to a different location. On the day of the tour, conflicting instructions from the ticket office and the guide led to us being sent in circles, wasting precious time. During the summer months, concerts are on at the stadium. This means you limited access to pitch and no access to changing rooms and inside of stadium. Tour operators know this but do not make clear and still charge full amount. Tour guide we had, had no knowledge of stadium or football. We spent longer outside the stadium than inside. I contacted the operator to express how disappointed we were, after many conversations via what's app they said that they state this in terms and conditions but it isn't clear. The operators clearly know they are running a tour with limited access and are still charging full price. DO NOT BOOK!

We booked the express tour of the stadium as we were limited for time. The day before I was messaged by the tour operator to say that we had been “Upgraded” to another tour to include the marble stadium and other parts. Our guide was disorganised. We started late standing in the baking sun waiting for radios. We wandered aimlessly around gardens listening to stories about how he son plays PlayStation and runs over old ladies in cars. The tour was simply awful.. we stood for 25 minutes outside of the stadium after the gardens waiting for our entry time. We had been on the tour for an hour already. They did bring us a bottle of water because of how hot it was. Nobody knew what was going on! The stadium itself was being setup for a concert so we actually didn’t see a lot. Avoid this tour!

We had a couple of hiccups - the day of experience was changed and then the day before the tour the time of the experience was brought forward by 15 mins. However all the communication regarding this was efficient and everything worked out well. The tour was great. My son had wanted to visit because of the football being played here but the rest of the Olympic site is fascinating. We didn’t get to walk on the pitch as we were in concert season but sat in the stands and got a good feel for it. Also the explanations of the history and mosaics on the way in were fascinating. Would recommend!

I booked this tour because of my sports fanatic son and wasn’t expecting much from it myself. I was wrong. The tour from the obelisk to the inside of the stadium was very interesting, our guide was very knowledgeable. Equally, inside the stadium the tour was interesting and well organised, even for those who are not football fans. The only shame was that there was a concert planned for the evening of our tour date, this limited photo opportunities inside the football stadium as we had to avoid taking photos of construction equipment. These things happen and it didn’t have too much of an impact. Would recommend the experience.
