We traveled with my elderly father and this was a perfect was to see the sights. Our guide grew up in the area and knew so much of Roman history. He brought the sites to life with the stories and details, moved from one century to the next, one Emporer to the next with ease and enthusiasm. I recommend doing this tour early in your stay in Rome so you will have more understanding of what you are seeing in the coming days.

We were very impressed with the amount of information our guide provided us on this tour. He was a native Roman, who really knew the history beyond what most people would know. We saw so many amazing sights and architecture that we never could have discovered on our own, much less in 2 hours. I just wish I had worn a jacket, because it was so cold! My fault! We loved it! Highly recommend!
