The trip was almost without incident, but make sure you are aware when booking that you will be on your own. We had some difficulties finding the gate at the Termini train station on the way in, we arrived to Firenze with enough time but went to the wrong Dante Alighieri monument to wait for the to the tickets, it seems there are multiple Dante statues throughout the city, finally we found the place outside the gallery got our tickets and started a self guided tour, note that you will have to pay for the headset. It takes about 3 hours to see the gallery. When we left I looked up for a golf cart tour of the city with RAYAN travel agency Florence golf tours, they sent the car to pick us up with no issues, Akram the driver was kind and welcoming, we spent the rest of the day visiting the different points taking time to see and take pictures before dropping us off at the Firenze train station. On the way back we had no issues leaving Firenze but did not know this was a different train itinerary so we got off at the next station which was 12 miles before Termini having to take a cab to get back to our hotel. Considering we visited Pompeii by train with a guide one day before with no incidents we would not book this trip again. The communication with the provider in the overall was good.

Rome’s Termini Station is indeed very large and can sometimes feel overwhelming, but there is always station staff available who can provide assistance if needed. We regret that you went to the wrong meeting point in Florence. As stated in the voucher, the designated meeting point is the Dante Alighieri statue located in the square outside the Uffizi Gallery. Regarding the headsets, we apologize for any inconvenience, but it is also mentioned in the voucher that guests are required to bring their own earphones. As for the rest of the activities mentioned in your review (such as the golf cart tour and other arrangements), please note that these services were not provided by us. Great museum

The Uffizi museum was amazing and did not disappoint. There is also plenty of time once you get to Florence to enjoy parts of the city before you need to make your way to the museum. Our only disappointment was the tour operator who didn’t inform the group that there was a mixup with the admission tickets. He was rude when we tried to ask questions as to why he didn’t have our tickets. In the end, we got our tickets, but the situation could have been handled much better. It is also important to note that you are left on your own at the train terminals. We didn’t mind as we are used to the terminals but other tours we took would have someone at the terminals to help the group locate their train and platform.
