This was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Tomaso, was amazing. He was so friendly and informative. He helped us navigate the crowds and we were able to bypass the lines. The Sistine Chapel is a must see. Tomaso was very knowledgeable and made our tour fun. We choose this tour because it was listed as family friendly. We were a family of 10 travelling with two children (3 & 4). It did not disappoint! Tomaso was patient and made sure we didn't miss anything.

We loved touring the Vatican! It was so amazing and overwhelming at times but our tour guide made it a wonderful experience for our family. Our boys stayed engaged from beginning to end. It is a busy place but we worth the crowds. The museums were a great way to ease into the day with things building from there. The Sistine Chapel was amazing and I was grateful that they don't allow photography because it forces you to take it in and not focus on taking pics (which won't do it justice anyway to why bother). Our guide gave the boys things to look for in the Chapel so that kept them busy. And St. Peter's Basilica was overwhelming in size and detail. Definitely something anyone going to Rome needs to do at least once.

Sarah was amazing. She engaged since the very beginning and during the whole tour, with my 9 & 6 year old boys. She was also very knowledgeable and considerate of their ages asking questions and teaching them history and fun facts as if they were playing. Thank you Sarah it was a wonderful experience for the whole family!

This tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our entire visit to Rome. The tour guide was an art historian who was extremely knowledgeable and had many fun facts for my children, (ages 8 and 10) that kept them actively engaged and curious!!! Our entire family learned so much from her and left so happy with our experience. We did the semi private option, but ended up with the tour guide all to ourselves. It seems like it’s a little pricey, but it was worth every penny, honest! I would do it again in a heartbeat 🏛🇮🇹

We did the private tour option and it was absolutely worth it! We were so pleasantly surprised when our guide, Francesco showed up, because we had met for our colosseum tour two days earlier! Francesco is the best guide we have ever had—he is so good with kids and explained things in a way that kept them engaged. I highly recommend the private option because it makes traveling through the different areas much easier and it is much easier to interact with your guide. Thank you Francesco for the fabulous learning experience!

Francesco was great with our kids, setting them tasks to find things in both the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel. It was a good thing to book a skip the line tour as it was very busy. To be honest, it's tough to get our 10 and 8 year olds enthusiastic about a museum of statues, art and antiques.... and the 2hr tour was their limit... but without Francesco I think they would've struggled.

Claudia was a fantastic guide! She was so patient and engaging with my four children. She asked questions throughout the tour and was incredibly flexible. She took the time to walk us through St. Peter's Basilica even though our time had technically ended, and then helped us find a lunch spot near the Vatican as well. We highly recommend Claudia as a tour guide!

Amazing experience for kids

This tour was amazing for the whole family. Our guide Alessandra noticed Right away that our 9 and 11 year love and are extremely knowledgeable about the Greek and Roman gods and she used this to help them explore the Vatican Museums. She was able to find fun ways to engage our six year old as well. She was very attentive to when the kids needed to rest or when they needed an emergency snack break and found a way to make that happen. She made a puzzle out of the Sistine chapel and explained the whole story. Then when we went into the chapel she made a silent matching game that kept the kids very interested in the art work. I would highly recommend this tour for families with children.

We met our tour guide and were the only ones on the tour, so it was essentially a private tour. The tour guide had a book with pictures and showed our two girls (ages 5 and 8) what to expect when we went inside. During the tour, he spoke directly to the girls, but my wife and I also learned a lot. It was really well done. Really great guide! We took several tours while in Italy and this was the best.
