It was our favorite day so far. Got out of the City to rural Zagarolla. Claudia and Angela were wonderful. Learned some secrets (at least to us) for making perfect pasta. The food was wonderful, the farm environment was beautiful and Claudia’s husband serenaded us. Would definitely recommend and we hope we can go back some day.

This was our most special experience in Italy. Claudia and Bruno and their family were so welcoming and helpful. Bruno picked us up from the train station and gave us a quick tour of their beautiful midevil village. Claudia's food was exceptional and she showed us so many of her tips and tricks. We were also lucky enough to have Bruno play his keyboard and sing for us while we cooked. After we cooked we got to sit down and enjoy our amazing meal with the whole family washed down with some of their beautiful homemade wine. And Bruno went out of his way to make sure we got back to our train on time. It was a truly magical day we will remember forever. It was lovely to get out of the hustle of Rome for the day, with just a short 30 min train ride. 100% recommend

Absolutely fantastic. Claudia and Bruno were the best hosts. We picked local vegetables and herbs from their garden, drank espresso, cooked 5 dishes, and ate amazing food. This was the highlight of our trip. I can’t recommend it enough.

Before we go the owner reached out with us about the train information clearly and show up on time. Then took us to their lovely house. And there was a cute dog welcome our arrived. They have their small farm and we can pick some fresh vegetable up. We learn two different types of pasta and ravioli. Also make some small dishes. While we were making pasta, Bruno had a beautiful piano play for us. After all we sat down had delicious food and wine together. It was wonderful to learn how to make Italian food and meet lovely friends on the day.

No show.
Unfortunately, this experience did not go as expected. I booked the class a month in advance as a surprise gift for my boyfriend’s birthday and was really looking forward to it, especially after reading the positive reviews. However, I never received a response to my questions in the chat, and on the day of the class, no one showed up at the station. Viator’s customer service also attempted to contact them but was unsuccessful. This was very disappointing.

We had the most lovely time with Bruno and Claudia! We highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Rome who is searching for delicious food, delicious wine, and amazing company! We learned such delicious recipes from Claudia that we will be taking home to the states and we had the most amazing time talking and laughing with Bruno. Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience in the Italian countryside!

If I could leave more stars I would! Claudia and Bruno welcome you like your family. If you want to experience Italian food and cooking this is the experience for you. Claudia took us through her gardens to pick, rosemary, olives, berries, etc. Bruno was generous and offered us wine he made and has an amazing singing voice.

From the drive from the train station to home to the memorable songs and wine this is an amazing experience. Claudia, Bruno, and Angela set us up for a wonderful cooking experience. Included were spinach pasta carbonara; stuffed ravioli; deep fried stuffed squash blossoms, and sage leaves; prosciutto, cheese and herbs wrapped in beef; grilled egg plant, garlic, vinegar and olive oil made from the olives in their yard. Bruno helped make the experience special playing the piano and serenading us along with pouring some of the amazing red wine he ferments on the property. An experience not to be missed.

If we could leave more stars, we would. This was absolutely the most incredible experience. If you’re looking for an authentic cooking experience in Italy, this is it. We had such an amazing time. The things we learned were wonderful, Claudia and her husband, Bruno, were so delightful and welcoming. Do not hesitate to do this. Their home is absolutely enchanting. It is legitimately in the Roman countryside and is rustic and magnificent. This will live in my memory and in my heart forever. Thank you, Claudia and Bruno.

We had an amazing day with Bruno and Claudia. Beautiful property. Small vineyard and many olive and fruit trees. Bruno meet us at the train station and dropped us off in the town to enjoy coffee and pastries and to explore for an hour. Picked us up and took us to there home and gave us a tour. We started by making tiramisu. Then we made Swiss chard ravioli and fettuccine Amatriciana. We made stuffed zucchini and zucchini blossoms. We drank there homemade wine and tasted there olive oil. Bruno even played the keyboard and sang songs. Bruno made sure we got to the train on time, even if he drove like Mario Andretti. It was unbelievable day. Highly recommend.

My husband and I couldn’t say enough about this wonderful experience! The beautiful location, people, home, garden, etc. It was just over the top amazing! Such an exceptional cooking class with the wonderful Claudia and Bruno. Incredible experience in every aspect. We were picked up promptly from the train station, arrived at their home and were met with warmth and Italian hospitality. We made pasta together, gathered herbs from the garden, walked amongst the olive trees and vineyard. Definitely our favorite day in Italy. Highly recommend it to anybody and everybody. Thank you for a most memorable time with you!

Claudia and Bruno made us feel right at home. It was far more than a class; it was a wonderful experience. AND I learned a lot I’m going to use at home!

Claudia and Bruno warmly welcomed us into their home as their guests. We enjoyed every moment from start to finish—learning how to make several dishes that included ravioli and fried artichokes! We are excited to experiment with our new skills and recipes when we return home. The food, wine, company and countryside setting made for a delightful experience!

Food and history were educational. Claudia, Hugo and Shasta the dog were very hospitable. They responded to all my concerns leading up to our arrival.

This was such a wonderful, relaxed & educational experience. Right from the moment of booking we were made to feel at ease and welcome. Claudia, Julia & Bruno are wonderful hosts & the class was the perfect way to escape the busy city for a day.
I had booked this as a surprise for my Mum and we both enjoyed every second. Getting there is super easy, don't let the train ride put you off. It's beautiful scenery and the train was clean, pleasant and on time.
Would 100% come back and learn more! The food was absolutely delicious & ingredients super fresh (lots picked on the day).

Incredible time cooking. The home was beautiful and the owners were very sweet and welcoming. The food was amazing and we didn’t want to leave in the end.

We had an amazing experience with Claudia on our honeymoon. It is a great break away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. She is so so experienced and informative. Would 110% recommend!!

Claudia is amazing. Her and her friend - Jules worked as a team to make us feel welcome and at ease. Claudia is an excellent cook and shared techniques and recipes. We made pumpkin ravioli, spinach and ricotta ravioli, dried zucchini flowers and the most wonderful vegetables. The end product was the best meal we have had in our two weeks in Rome - and we made it ourselves.
Claudia and Jules shared the meal and wine with us. The being was perfect - great food and new friends!

We had a wonderful time with Claudia and her family in Zagarolo. The pasta we made was delicious and it was special to share in a Sunday lunch family meal.
We found a wonderful Airband b just down the road and got the full zagarolo getaway experience!

We had the absolute best time at this cooking class! Claudia and Bruno are wonderful hosts and made us feel like family! We made several wonderful dishes, including two types of pasta. It was not only delicious but I actually feel like I can come home and make the recipes myself! Their house was inviting and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this class if you are looking for a genuine experience!

It was amazing! Claudia and Bruno welcomed us into their home and made us feel like family. We loved every minute of it. It was a perfect way to end our trip!
Theodore_M, Apr 2023
Claudia and Bruno were wonderful hosts. They picked us up at the Zagarolo train station a quick 30 minute ride from Roma Terminal. We toured their olive grove and vineyard. We then enjoyed a cup of coffee and biscuits, then it was off to work where we made spinach ravioli, fettuccine, rolled beef, fried zucchini blossoms fried sage leaves and artichokes. We ate outside looking over the olive grove sharing there homemade wine and oil. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Bruno even played the piano he loves American music. We met their son and a good friend of theirs who joined in for lunch. I hope we have friends in Italy for life.

We had an incredible time with Claudia and Bruno at their home learning how to cook a traditional Italian lunch. We created fun memories that will last a lifetime! They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Bruno was always smiling, joking and playing the keyboard while Claudia worked incredibly hard (with some of our help) to prepare a meal with their home-grown ingredients. We enjoyed this excursion despite the short travel outside of the city and would recommend it to anyone looking for something to do that is less traditional while in Rome or nearby. You won’t find a class like this in the city!!

Bruno, Claudia, and Angela were amazing. Traveling to the countryside from the train station in his Ferrari was the start of an amazing day of cooking, eating, laughter, and music. Much more than entertainment, this is for the serious chefs who want to learn. We had an amazing day and am looking forward to coming back again to visit, and learn new recipes. Belle!!!

We had a great time meeting and cooking with Claudia at her house in Zagarolo. It was an easy train ride from Roma Termini station. Bruno picked us up and provided historical and cultural information on the drive to their house.
Claudia had ideas for the morning's cooking class and was gracious and talented enough to switch menu items when we talked about "Gluten Free Preference." She quickly thought up new recipes and rearranged ingredients.
Note: We were spoiled...we were the only people on the morning we went!
During the meal preparation, Claudia explained; modeled; and let us participate in all steps. She also answered our questions about preparing food and cooking in general. She was a gracious host, wonderful teacher, and a fun lunch companion...we laughed so much!
Together with Bruno, we headed to the garden to pick cherries and mulberries (which made it into our sorbetto dessert!) Bruno showed us his winemaking locale. We toured the family vineyard and olive orchard.
Thank you Claudia for opening up your house to us and sharing your cooking talents and experiences with us. It was a wonderful and memorable experience. Bravissimo!
Linda_B, Mar 2022
We had a wonderful time learning to cook multiple dishes and a great dessert! Claudia and Bruno were warm, fun, and really made the experience. I can’t wait to cook risotto and gluten free ravioli when I’m back in the states.
Leigh_M, Mar 2022
This is an amazing Italian cooking experience. Claudia and Bruno and their country home are delightful. Claudia is a great chef and will teach you how to make several delicious dishes. She has a few wonderful surprises for you too!

We took the train from Roma - very easy ride, and were picked up at Zagarolo.
Claudia’s house is surrounded by a beautiful garden that had all the herbs for her cooking.
She welcomed us with coffee and cookies and showed us around. Her kitchen is large and comfortable to work in. She made accommodations for our dietary needs so everyone can enjoy!
We made fresh pasta for ravioli and cannelloni, a baked vegetable dish and many other side dishes that Claudia suggested from the fresh ingredients she had that day.
We were fortunate enough to enjoy the fruits of the baking class she conducted the previous day ad had rum baba for dessert.
With Claudia you don’t have generic cooking class - this experience is extremely unique!
We were sad to leave but hope to be back one day for more!
If you are looking for something different than your local Rome pizza/pasta classes, you must try this!
We can’t thank Claudia enough for the afternoon we spent with her!
