A Great Day Exploring the World of the Etruscans

Great day private trip with our driver Leonardo. Although he is not a guide as such he is very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. Also good with the historical overview. We visited Tarquinia Etruscan cemetery to see the painted tombs, then the Etruscan Museum in Tarquinia. From there it was on to Tuscania, a medieval city with Etruscan and Roman aspects. Two beautiful old churches, St Peter’s and Santa Maria Maggiore. We would recommend this trip to anyone interested in the enigmatic Etruscan civilisation. Provided of course that the weather is ok.
