The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are closed on Sunday. Please note: if you book your experience on Sunday, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel can be visited on Monday.

The Vatican Museums reserve the right to close any section, including the Sistine Chapel, due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.
The customer is responsible, at the time of purchase, for correctly entering their first name, last name and selecting the appropriate ticket type. The personal details must match exactly those shown on the identity document that will be presented in original form at the park entrance. The ticket category must be chosen based on the customer’s age on the day of the visit and as indicated on the identity document. In case of errors made by the customer during the booking process, the Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for any denied access to the Archaeological Park decided by the competent authorities, and no refund will be issued.
The total retail price includes: €18,00 adult / €0.00 minor (0-17 years) admission ticket to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill The remaining amount covers additional services such as the multimedia video, guided tour and on-site assistance.
All participants must present a valid original ID. Photos, copies, or photocopies are not accepted. Those who fail to present the original document will be denied entry without a refund.
These admissions cannot be used for school groups, group guided tours, and private guided tours
Free admission to all disabled visitors with a certified disability. In case of not self-sufficient, the free voucher is also extended to a companion

Do some side research on sights open days and times before you book.

We feel the tour company that was hired for this was dishonest. When we showed up at our tour time we were told that it was a free day so the skip the lines didn't work for the museums and chapel. We were able to walk around the forum and collusseum but there wasn't a long line for either of those so we feel we paid for nothing. The lady at the front desk told us the chapel closed at 7:30 but by husband looked it up while we were standing at the desk and it showed that it closed at 2pm. So then the lady told us that we would't have time to fit all of it in without the skip the line option (that we paid for) so we had to choose. She did offered another tour for the next afternoon but we weren't going to be in rome anymore.

There is no guide. It is up to you to get to the meeting place to obtain tickets and then navigate the crowds to find the correct line. The Vatican Museum is very hot at least in September. We enjoyed seeing the sights but as a distant time tourist, I would not book an unguided tour.

The whole thing was a bit...

The whole thing was a bit confusing. I didn’t know we booked a specific time for the colosseum and Vatican (there was an allocated time for each - that was not clear on the booking) then they tried to move our Vatican booking to a later time which didn’t suit us but we managed to talk to them when we got there and they got us in a bit earlier. Good to have skip the line for Vatican though and the guide took you past security into the Vatican.

Great experience, but could have used more information before booking

We had a great experience on this tour, however we felt the information about the package/tour in the listing could have been more detailed or clear. We didn’t realize there were only a few booking slots available for each site, so the experience took up more of our day than we had anticipated. We still thoroughly enjoyed it all, we just didn’t know what to expect as there wasn’t much information in the listing. When you arrive at the office to book, they offer a few reservation times. Our booking was to arrive at the office at 10am. We weren’t able to go to the Colosseum until 1:00pm and the Vatican Museums until 4:00pm, leaving us with bo reservation options for St Peter’s Basilica. They offered times for the following day, but we were leaving Rome. All around, we had a great time and no real complaints! We only wished we had been able to get earlier reservations for the Colosseum and Vatican Museums.

Did a great job as a booking agent

Get to the local travel partner early or face some long lines. The nice part is, the local agency did have my reservation and even helped to split the experience over two days since the Vatican museums were closed on Sunday. I was able to move travel around effortlessly the next day, which accommodated our ability to complete the full tour and see the beautiful museums, including the Sistine Chapel.
