Vatican tour guide was good but you said St. Peter’s basilica was included which was very deceiving because it’s free but we didn’t get in with the guide and had to wait over an hour in line. Very disappointed with that.

Our family of 4 was booked for 9:30am, we received a message that the tour was moved up to 8:30am due to the heat wave which worked fine for us. The skip the line process was priceless, as the line even that early in the morning was enourmous. The guide was great, gave us high level infor and walked us though the museum and chapel in 2.5 hrs, then took us to the line into St. Peter’s Basilicia which took about 20 minutes to get in ( moved pretty quick). That’s where we were in our own and walked around at our own pace. Pricey tour but I’m pretty sure we paid the premium to skip the line, but worth it. Our tour ended to being private as the family of 5 that was going to be in our group didn’t arrive on time so we started without them. Be in time, these guys don’t mess around!

Our guide did a great job with explaining very well & throwing in some humor. He got us through the basics without spending HOURS in the museums. Allowed us ample time in the Sistine Chapel & gave us great instructions on the St. Peters Basilica & then allowed us infinite amount of time there. Definitely an A+

The ONLY way to see the Vatican is with pre-purchased tickets - unless you just love waiting forever in long lines under the hot sun! This Viator tour was exactly what we wanted. We met a few blocks from the entrance, walked over, and were inside quickly. The artwork in the Vatican is spectacular, and the grounds are magnificent. Our tour not only covered parts of the museum and the Sistine Chapel, but also St. Peter's Basilica. It was fantastic!

Tour operator sent last minute message late the night before our 10:30am Vatican tour, informing us that our tour time had been cancelled and only offered us an option 2:25pm. But we were only in Rome 1 day while in port from a cruise. So we tried to make it work. When we arrived at meeting point the tour operator assured us we would get inside museum by 2:35pm (since we were on tight schedule to get back to our Cruise ship meeting point by 4:30pm.
But once we actually got in line for the museum entrance it was already 2:35pm and the guide just shrugged and said “maybe it’ll be a little longer to get in today..” We also paid the high price for tour because they promised access to St Peters Basilica after exiting Sistine Chapel, which we later found out we could not take advantage of since we ended up having to leave our tour group early to make it back to our cruise. we never would have accepted this forced change to our tour time if the tour operator had been honest and upfront about expectations AFTER they had already changed tour time on us at the last minute. AND watch out when they say NO Refunds, I should have known better.

Obviously we informed way ahead and last day you confirmed us this time works for you we offered you also a full refund but you never wanted that now you blaming us for all ?
why you accepted without any word when they wanted to change for 14.30 ? and now after you saying about refund when you have done this tour with us !
please try to calculate before you accept any time change and we could have put you at 1.30 pm you have been telling us about your tight schedule

Loved it. Knowledgeable tour guide who was able to overcome some main office snafus to get us in. We didn’t realize we’d also get the Roman Forum too. Incredible history.

A live guide was only provided for the Sistine Chapel and The Vatican Museums. Although advertised, they did not provide a live guide or transportation to The Colosseum or St. Peter's Belisica. Verify what you're getting ahead of time before paying. I requested a refund and Viator refused.

Before giving wrong review to someone think that is not a right thing what you doing to others business. We never described you will have transport including in this tour never wrote somewhere it will be a live guide for every places. Unless you paid for it how it comes you claimed all this things. As promises service you got a guide for museum chapel and also had skip the line to Church also received skip the line tickets for Roman forum Palatine hill and colosseum with audio guide. What else you wanted with the price you have paid?
