It's not just going from one donut place to the next. It's also a history tour. Our guide was great and had grown up in the area. He explained how Reading Terminal Market was before it became what it's known as today. It was very interesting.

This is the second city I have done the donut tour with Underground Donut. The guide was knowledgeable about Philly and the donuts were amazing. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go on another tour in the next city. I was the only person on the tour and I was surprised the tour was not canceled. Thank you for doing a tour for one. Highly recommended.

I recommend to go with kids. Unless you are a lover of donots. Then go. Great donuts and a lot of them. Fun to walk around Philly Kelly was a wonderful guide

This was an excellent small group tour! We learned about the history and architecture in Philly along with eating some delicious donuts! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our follow-up questions. You can tell he really has a passion for sharing his knowledge of all things Philly as he takes you around Center City.

Chris made the history walk interesting. I make it a point to learn at least two things from the tour.
1. I learned why the donut hole was introduced.
2. The William Penn statue is almost 50 feet tall.
3. 88 million in bricks at city hall.
4. I like the way he told the stories.
I would highly recommended the tour!

Jason was a great tour guide. He was fun, informative, and thorough. We got to also experience the Sphere inside the Comcast building on this tour, which was fun.

Trip and guide were amazing showed us around Philly and took us to a bunch of doughnut shops. He even showed us local shops in the area as well. I have done several of these and I recommend doing this tour.
My friend and I had a great time on the donut tour. Our guide was wonderful - I didn't get the spelling of his name but it started with T (Tiogi?). We had a lot of fun walking to each location and learning more about Philadelphia and the various donut shops. So many different flavors! Loved the donut tour pins we were all given. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Fun and tasty! Three great stops with traditional and modern takes on donut flavours. If you are in Philly, this is a fun must do. Our guide was great! Knowledgeable, friendly and warm.

I had an excellent tour! It was just me and the tour guide and together we walked around Philly. I learned all about the history of various donut shops and got to taste so many donuts. Seriously, so many donuts. I'm still eating them a day later. Should you take this tour make sure to come hungry! Definitely got my money's worth and it was an awesome look at the city exploring the most delicious snack. Highly recommended!

So… many… donuts! The tour guide was excellent, and the donuts were delicious. I don’t have any dietary restrictions, but one of the people in my group was vegan, and one of the donut shops we visited made vegan donuts. By the time we were done, I had a few donuts I could take home.

3 tips:
(1) too much filler/ extra walking for no reason other than to fill 2 hours.
(2) tour guide needs to bring paper plates. Eating on dingy napkins is just jenky.
(3) don’t make strangers cut and share donuts. This is not a school trip. Buy enough for everyone AND let them select their own. Otherwise the people at the end of the line don’t get any choice- they are stuck with what the leader selected and no one else wanted. Having to cut and share donuts just reeks of cheapness. This tour costs enough that they can afford everyone to pick their own donuts and not share.

This tour seems mostly to be Neil's creation, and it's hard not to respect his enthusiasm. I think he's still getting the hang of it, and some of his facts are better than others, suffice it to say. The donut portions are generous, that said. And if you're traveling with kids, they'll eat up the "certified donut afficionado" thing, too. Overall, great and extremely personable tour guide and tasty donuts. Don't hesitate.
