It was a very cold evening. We had a nice time with this person, Pat. He was a very professional and humorous person telling us about a lot of stories. We liked the topics and the way he described things very much. But because of the temperature, we had to pause the experience after 2/3 of the locations. All three of us were so cold, so I firstly mentioned that we probably had to stop the experience. Above all, we were very satisfied.

Walking shoes are recommended and have a nice dinner before hand. Always check the weather as well in case its chilly or raining.

Great opportunity to see some major Philly historical sites with a few surprising ghost stories. Jackson knows her stuff and lots of good info. Tour moves fast with just an hour scheduled so be prepared to walk briskly.

No one showed up to give the tour. I have never been to Philly, so I was really disappointed I missed out on this opportunity. I was preserving my phone battery so I would be able to Uber back to my hotel. Two other guys were also there waiting. One of them called to see what was going on with no success. We were not notified of the tour being canceled. I have no idea what happened.

I was extremely disappointed with this tour. Save your money. Our tour guide did not know the history or any “ghost” stories. It all sounded very made up and kept reading for help. NOT SCARY AT ALL. The people taking the tour actually knew more information than the tour guide. Also no lantern. 1/10 . The best part was the weather.

Frustrating start with being there at 745pm and not starting until 811pm as the new guide came running in late. Couldn't hear most of the the "information", heard information was lack luster and incomplete as "stories" either didn't make sense or weren't finished. Would have loved it to have been an educational and accurate as i do not believe #s and stories that were told and wasn't provide time to ask questions

The tour guide didn’t show and no one who was waiting received notification of cancellation. Two of the people waiting were going to be shadowing the guide. Waste of time and not offered a free or discount on future tour.

Ellis was a great guide and entertaining storyteller! I agree with other reviews that it's not super spooky but it was super informative. We say so many major sites without trudging around during the hot summer day. We learned history via great story telling and some humor. So glad I booked this for our family (kids 12 and 15) instead of "wasting" a whole day visiting the 5 sites. My 12 year old was glued to her hip - hanging on every word!

Do not do this tour! Viator will not help you with any refunds so be careful!! Our tour guide Jeffery showed up late, turned his back to us when he spoke, walked super fast and did not slow down or wait for the group when asked. We ended up not being able to complete the tour because he left us behind! My parents are seniors and could not keep up. It was an awful experience and no one from the tour company or Viator cared to make it right for a group of 14!!! Horrible!

This was a very disappointing tour. I have booked tours all over the world with Viator and never had a bad one until now. Tour was supposed to start at 8pm. I received a phone call at 6 asking if I still wanted to go. I said yes and she told me it had to be moved to 8:30 and did I still want to go. I said no give me a refund and she said no refunds. So I said I guess we will go at 8:30. No one showed up. I attempted calling support for the local tour company Ghost Adventures but never got anyone. At 8:45 another tour was ending and I approached the guide and he said, oh yes. Do you still want to go? We said yes and he said ok, we'll do a quick one. The guide's name was Aiden and it seemed like he got stuck with us. The tour lasted 45 minutes and was not great. He seemed like he was just making stuff up as he went. And he had almost no historical knowledge of Philadelphia. I was very disappointed.
