The crew definitely knows their way around the boat and sharks! Everyone on board were first timers and a little nervous, but after talking on the way out to where we were going to snorkel everyone was a little more relaxed. They care deeply about informing people about sharks, and the conservation of the marine life around the islands. 100/10 trip and will definitely book again next time we come back to Oahu!

The Ultimate Experience

I did the shark dive with Hawaii Adventure Diving, and it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. I was nervous at first, but Annika, Stacy, and Terry were incredible. They made safety the priority and educated us about shark behavior in a way that completely shifted my mindset from fear to respect. The moment we entered the water, the adrenaline hit — but it quickly turned into awe. We were surrounded by Galapagos sharks gliding gracefully around us, and at one point, even had a tiger shark swim by to check us out. Seeing these powerful animals in their natural environment was surreal and empowering. By the end of the dive, I felt calm, confident, and completely hooked. I’ll absolutely be doing this again — and next time, I’m getting even closer.

I took an uber ride to the north shore for the 7am because this had been on my bucket list for a while now and we leave the same day… it was incredible. The crew was down to earth, the random group that was with me was awesome. Everyone had a blast. For a 7am crew we were lively. Now for the sharks….we were surrounded by them. They were far below us and the crew was able to get them to come back around and they were everywhere. I was so close to a few and it was ethereal. Best way to put it. It was hands down the best experience on this trip and the best experience I’ve ever done, even skydiving. Not an adrenaline rush line skydiving but a rush it was! I also felt completely safe. Highly highly highly recommend.

If I could give this experience a thousand stars I would - simply amazing! Stacey - captain, Ronnie - marine biologist and Meagan - photography, are all so helpful, informative and polite. They are extremely careful with all the equipment which is really clean and well maintained. They are very particular in ensuring everything fits properly and is comfortable. The dive itself was beyond my expectations. The water was warm and crystal clear and I always felt completely safe and the girls ensure that nothing can go wrong. When out in the water, there is so much more to see than just the sharks, though having said that, when they appeared it was unbelievable. We had Galapagos sharks, but just as we were about to get back on the boat a Tiger shark appeared and swam around us - that was mind blowing! I honestly couldn't recommend this trip highly enough, it was absolutely perfect, everything I'd hoped for and more. I must add - get the photo pack! No phone or even a half decent camera could do justice to what you're experiencing.

Great loved the crew saw a shark and baracuda, they also taught us about sharks and the misconception of sharks and how we need to do our part in conservation! Booking again to bring my family felt safe and secure the whole time book with them!

I had a fantastic experience with the team, the staff, and the people. They are very knowledgeable and attentive, and as a solo traveler, I felt reassured knowing I was in good hands. We had the opportunity to see several sharks, and I wasn't scared at all; they made sure we stayed calm and understood exactly what to do. Overall, it was a great experience. If you have a fear of sharks like I do, you'll learn to appreciate them as long as you respect them, and they will respect you in return.

I emailed the company plus Viator to let them know I was not able to get in the water or do the experience for me and my daughter. The water was so rocky the boat was very rough and felt like it would tip over; I threw up and was not able to get down the ladder or into the water due to how rocky and powerful the waves were. My daughter with autism was very scared and disappointed she could not swim with the sharks. I was not offered an apology or partial or full refund which I feel was the fair and just thing to do. I am very disappointed and I hope the company makes this right.

Forget the cage that’s child’s play haha. Shark cage we did 8 years ago but when I saw this I had to book! The Captain and guides were amazing and knowledgeable. I was the first one in after the guides but I did experience some fear lol. Once I got in and swam around for 5 minute's I signaled my 14 year old daughter to get in and we had an amazing experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful day on the water with a wonderful and experienced crew. Tons of sharks and fish and we felt very safe. It was actually unreal how many sharks were in the water. It was an experience I will never forget. My finance and I loved it!!!
