The hike was much harder than I expected it to be. I did not make it all the way to the falls. It was steep and very rocky.

Aloha Deborah, Yes our hiking trails in Hawaii can be difficult for folks that have never hiked or that have old injuries. This trail is nearly 2-miles round-trip. Thanks for joining us and giving a review.

I traveled to Hawaii for a holiday vacation and really really enjoyed this hike. My guide, Mike, was knowledgeable and had extra amenities like granola bars! Nice, for the early start.

We never got a chance to. Our trip it was canceled a half hour before departure time .We were so disappointed you would think they would have more than one tour guy especially since we are traveling from another state and this is a vacation I would never ever use you guys again nor will my family or friends

We regret the illness of one of our 6 staff members has caused you. We take your health and safety seriously and will not allow staff to come to work when ill. We had the option to join another day or take another tour that was going out. We hope you will join us someday to see why so many people choose our 23 yrs of experience.

The pick up was on time and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the history and area. If you asked a question, he would happily answer it! The hike was enjoyable and the final destination, the waterfall, was a beautiful sight. Would recommend for a great time!

It was a great hike but very disappointing when we arrived at the waterfall site. Not much going on, I guess mother nature didn’t work with us. 2 reasons for low rating: 1) Tour guides were not much of a story teller. Had great knowledge going over but dried up quickly after hike. Became a boring ride. 2) Expectations for a great waterfall view are advertised, no mention of the possibility of a dry waterfall. Further about half way to the location the tour guide mentioned it probably wasn’t going to much of a view due to dry season. Again, no mention of that in tour description.

Aloha Robert.. Thank you for joining us and taking your time to comment on your experience. First, water output from our island waterfalls are mostly related to recent rainfall and this area exceeds150 inches of annual rainfall. Our summer weather is nicer because less rain, but then less water output on most waterfalls. Join us on our Koolau Waterfall next time. This one is not dependent on rainfall as it is fed by an active underground spring.

Daniel was great. Helped mom a lot on the hike. Even carried her backpack down the hill. He was very knowledgeable of the area. Would book this again and have him be our guide. Was great at taking pictures of us at certain locations. I give him 5+ stars!!!
