"Amazing Experience."
We booked the Nature Hike to Waterfall and immediately received a confirmation text with our pick-up time and location. Troy, our tour guide, arrived right on time at the front of our hotel. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and treated us like family.
We passed by Diamond Head and made stops at Makapu‘u Point, Halona Blowhole, and Nuuanu Pali, with plenty of time to enjoy each spot. We never felt rushed, took in the beautiful sights, and snapped amazing photos.
From there, we drove up Old Pali Road through the lush Muuanu canopy and arrived at the starting point of our hike. We trekked through the Muuanu rainforest — the kind of place you only see in movies. Along the way, we tasted wild Hawaiian red ginger, tried rare rainforest nuts, and ended at one of the large Likeke waterfalls. " Breathtaking. "
The trail wasn’t paved, but it was easy enough that kids could do it. Tip: wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy.
On the way back to the hotel, Troy suggested we try Asian Stix, Noodle Street — which I honestly believe had some of the best variety and flavor of Asian food we tasted during our trip. He even offered to drop us off there, which was the perfect way to end the day.
Extraordinary experience — so glad we booked this adventure and that Troy was our guide. 5 stars. Highly recommended. Don’t hesitate — book it and enjoy!

Troy is an incredible tour guide! From the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off, we felt informed, entertained, and totally at ease—like we were spending the day with a good friend. As a single mom traveling with kids, I felt completely safe and taken care of the entire time. My kids especially loved his fun facts about Japanese culture and K-pop (they’re still talking about it 😆). Troy’s knowledge of the island’s geography and history is seriously impressive, and he made every stop feel meaningful. We saw some of the most breathtaking sights on O‘ahu, and I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.

Troy was GREAT! The tour totally blew our expectations out of the water. Our whole group agreed it was the highlight of our trip. Photos don't do the Lekiki Falls justice. Troy was such a a pleasure and such a genuine person. We can't recommend him enough! Thank You Troy!!

Believe all the reviews you read about Troy! He is a great guide, and it’s obvious he has a passion for what he does and for the area. He’s knowledgeable without being stuffy, and was able to adapt to what my family was looking for in our hike and tour around the island. It was an absolutely wonderful way to end our trip. Highly recommend!

Troy was super informative and friendly. The hike was as amazing as we hoped it would be and more! The waterfalls were breathtaking and stunning! The hike was a short, yet moderate hike. We are amateur hikers and managed just fine.

Amazing experience! We had so much fun. The hike to the waterfall was not too difficult (or too easy) for 50-something women and all of the stops to the different spots were breathtaking. Troy is such a great guide who added details along the way that we would never have known about. We’ll do this tour again next time we are back. We loved it that much!

Great tour guide! Very knowledgeable of everything we saw. Guided us to the waterfall, skillfully, even though it was super muddy.

Troy was the absolute best tour guide our family has ever had. This was by far the best experience we have had thus far on Viator. Not even exaggerating it was 10/10! We plan to come back w/ our other 2 adult children and do any available tour Troy has running at the time. I can’t say enough about this experience, truly look no further book this tour as you will not be disappointed!

This experience was everything , beautiful places and a great time. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and a joy to hang out with. Going from place to place and hearing about the islands history was everything we wanted. The guide even took pictures of us while hiking and at all the spots so we didn’t have to worry about getting pictures. If we come back to Hawaii I would deff look him up and go with him again.

Great half day tour :) Enjoyable hike with a beautiful waterfall at the end. Troy, our guide was friendly, informative and helpful. The tour was at a relaxed pace and we were not rushed at all. Explored the south shore and finished up with some delicious malasadas! Highly recommend.

Troy was great! When he learned that we had already seen a couple of the places that he was going to show us on the way, he adjusted his plans and showed us different spots, even stopping so that we could get out and take pictures. The waterfall isn't a really big one, but it was pretty and it was a nice enjoyable hike to get there. Tip: bring sandals you can get wet. It was really nice walking around in the shallow pool at the bottom of the waterfall, but I did it without shoes, and those little pokey rocks were hard on my feet.

Such a great hike! We had an absolutely great day with Troy as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about Hawaiian history, culture, and plant life. We really enjoyed our hike and Troy got some awesome photos of us at the waterfall. Definitely worth it!
