Come hungry! What a perfect evening spent in New Orleans…amazing food, the chef was personable & shared the history of the dishes with us. The musical entertainment was top notch & truly added to the meal. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. If you’re on the fence about booking - BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed!

This was such a unique and amazing experience. Mister Gregory’s food was delicious and flavorful. And Stanley Roy has such a beautiful voice and loved his songs to use while we ate. Both are beautiful souls. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely unforgettable. Hands down one of the most incredible dining experiences we’ve ever had. This seafood boil was beyond insane — every single dish was executed with so much care, flavor, and soul. From the very first course, we were blown away. The shrimp course was one of our favorites of the night — perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and the kind of dish that immediately makes you want the recipe (which I am still dreaming about). The oyster course was another standout — fresh, bold, beautifully balanced, and honestly one of the best oyster preparations I’ve ever had. I would happily fly back just for those two courses alone. Every single person involved was so warm and genuinely lovely, but the host was truly exceptional. Being welcomed into his home made the experience feel intimate, special, and incredibly authentic — something you just can’t replicate in a restaurant. There was so much generosity, passion, and love poured into the evening, and you could feel it in every detail. We’re from Australia, and this was our last night in New Orleans, and I honestly can’t imagine a better way to end our trip. We felt so grateful just to be there, sharing this experience, and it’s a night we’ll never forget. And then — the dessert. Wow. I am not a dessert person at all. Normally I’ll take a polite bite and be done. I finished the entire dessert. Every bite. That alone should tell you how incredible it was. Truly impressive. Thank you for such a magical, unforgettable evening. This wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience, a memory, and a perfect farewell to New Orleans. We’re so grateful. ❤️🦐🦪✨

Great food from scratch with locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. The music was by local duo keeping the Storyville tradition alive. That was special because you don't come across it often. Mister Gregory even set up a ramp to get my mom up the front steps in her wheelchair. Overall, these are people who clearly love their city and their traditions and take pride in sharing with visitors.

This was a great night. Something totally different and we all really enjoyed from the teens to the adults in their 70’s. The food was outstanding and we all left stuffed . The entertainment was outstanding fun interactive and so talented . I highly recommend..

The host was really nice. However, 15 shirimp, 3 pieces of sausage, 2 stuffed small store bought crab, & 2 small but tasty dessert for is not a boil. The live music was 2 people. 1 was playing guitar and the other a Tube-tar or Tubear (Folk Music). The bartender & drinks next door where the best part, and they were NOT apart of the activity. Don't waste your money.

Such a great time! Mr. Gregory was wonderful. An intimate dining experience where each dish is explained and such thought and care was put into the menu. We filled up on the food before the shrimp even arrived! Come hungry because it is more food than you can imagine! The entertainment was colorful and so much fun! 10/10 would recommend and will do again when we come back to New Orleans!

I'm in town for a conference and decided to book this on a whim - I am SO glad that I did! You meet at a bar next door first (Le CaBARet), which was nice because you can begin mingling with other attendees. Thankfully I saw on a review that the name had recently changed from Grand Pre, but I think some of the group was a bit confused. Then, Mr. Gregory gathers everyone and you go directly next door. It's family style seating, and we had a really good group, so it worked well. There were people from all over and one couple was doing it for a second time because they had loved it so much! The food is amazing, and Mr. Gregory gives background information on all of the dishes, which was really cool. He is incredibly friendly and inviting! The first few items are tasting portion (and delicious), but the shrimp boil is plentiful (we couldn't finish)! The performers were absolute stars! It was such a cool show, and they were also super friendly. Overall, it was a great time and I'm so glad I did it! It was my first night in New Orleans, and given that I'm traveling solo, it was a great way to meet people and it was a really unique experience - basically a dinner party with strangers. It felt very different from your typical tourist "excursion." I really can't recommend it enough.
