Having the right tour guide is critical to the tour and John was amazing. Me and my wife would do more tours with him. He was engaging, knowledgeable and ensured that everyone was involved with the tour. As we walked around he pointed out areas of interest and discussed the details of each place we visited. Details such as the compass on the ceiling of the first place we toured to the rectangular plaque the shows the place was identified as having paranormal activity. He interacted with the group in a way that the group of individuals interacted with each other during and after the tour. If you want to do a tour through New Orleans, John is the person I would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic tour! John is so knowledgeable and gives a great story telling while being true to accuracy. He has clearly invested so much time into the stories of New Orleans. If you want to walk to get great cocktails and learn about spooky history, this is for you! No orbs in photos, just really good historical stories, which are much scarier!

I have been on a couple ghost tours. This one has been the most entertaining. The.guide was perfectly animated to tell his ghost stories in the best ways! The drinks were cleverly picked to show the culture and history of Nola!

John was a great tour guide. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and very entertaining. He clearly loves what he does and knows a lot about the area’s ghost lore. The issue for me wasn’t with John, but more with the experience itself. I was expecting more storytelling about the actual businesses we visited, maybe some haunted bar history or eerie events tied to specific locations. Instead, it was mostly general ghost stories about the area or nearby houses, followed by a quick drink at a bar before moving on. If you’re into local legends and enjoy walking with a drink in hand, this might be perfect for you. It just wasn’t quite what I had hoped for.

Very enjoyable and unique NOLA tour. You go to three stops for cocktails and there are plenty of entertaining ghost stories/historical legends along the way. John is a highly entertaining guide and has drawn his stories directly from local lore, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

John is an animated friendly guide. The drinks were good (note: they are not included in the ticket price and one place requires cash) and the stories entertaining. It is more of a history of ghost stories and not designed to scare. John cites his sources and seems well informed about NO in general.

Our tour guide, Tom, was very entertaining and told the ghost stories in a very theatrical manner. The three stops were not the typical bars, so enjoyed going to new bars. We had a group of six which included 2 non-drinkers. There was no pressure to order alcoholic beverages, which they appreciated. Very knowledgable guide and would highly recommend this tour if visiting New Orleans!

It was an excellent tour! John has woven lore and history into informative and entertaining storytelling. He introduced us to locations we wouldn’t have found on our own. Along with the ghost stories, you get a fascinating lesson on libations and their history in New Orleans.
One of my favorite things on our trip. Highly recommend!
