We had a great time learning about Diné culture and the beautiful land and vistas of Monument Valley. We highly recommend this tour as you are able to see spots not accessible from the regular driving tour. Our guide Cody was incredibly knowledgeable and very welcoming. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

You really get to see the entire valley but be aware it is dirt roads that can be a bit rough. it was also great fun to do the tour late in the afternoon so as to experience sundown in the valley.

Cody was great and informative. He was very tentative and allowed us to take our time taking pictures.

Easy to find the pick up location.
Our guide, Cody, was super nice and knowledgeable on the landmarks and history. We learned so much and saw so many cool things that you can’t see without a guide! We loved learned about the Navajo and film culture here. Would highly recommend!

The Navajo guide we had was very informative and courageous. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
The road is pretty bumpy in parts but it is so worth it

Dress warmly and soak up the views!
I didn’t think it could get any better until I got a whiff of horses! That made the entire unbelievable experience even better!

Great customer service!! Phoned me prior to trip because I was not at the right location. Making sure everything was okay. It was and they were on their way to get me.

Stan was a great guide! He made our visit to monument valley an experience to remember. His stories are not just stories. They are his real life experiences!
Sue_H, Sep 2025
Wayne is a long-time resident of the area and has much
knowledge to share about the formations and surrounding area.
He gave us a wonderful song and drumming experience. It was nice to have an elder navigate our tour!

We really enjoyed the tour! Our Guide was emphatic and humourous and explained everything personally.

This was our third visit to Monument Valley. Each time we took a tour. Each time we had a unique experience. Othis tour, our guide, Wayne, shared his love for the Valley and his knowledge. He pointed out the features, gave some demonstrations and took beautiful panoramic pictures of each group or couple putting them in the full setting of fantastic formations..

The guide was fantastic. The scenery was beautiful. The only complaint is that the visitor center was closed. It was unclear on where to go to pre-purchase the entrance tickets.

We did the sunset tour which was breathtaking. Our tourgide was friendly and showed us nice spots to take photos. Learning about the Navajo Nation’s culture and history was amazing.

It was amazing, fun, informative. Richie was the best guide. He knew so much of the history, had great back stories. I would definitely recommend.

Really amazing experience with Richard as our guide. We were able to go to places you can't go by yourself and experience some really cool moments in secluded areas. We even got some native songs, flute playing, and we watched someone weave yarn. Definitely would do this experience again and highly recommend doing it with Richard!

The jeep tour of Monument Valley was wonderful! Our guide was Jamie and he really made the tour special, even singing "Happy Birthday" to my wife and giving her a bracelet. I'm not sure there is any way for a future birthday to measure up to this one! Jamie is the BEST!

Richard was our tour guide. He was very interesting. He was well prepared with information. He took many pictures of my husband and me. When he noticed my battery life was down to 14%, he let me use his battery backup. Richard willingly answered all kinds of questions. He had his flute with him and played it two time when we were at sites that other visitors weren’t. It was very special.

Great Trail at sunset. The Navajo guide is Nice but spend most of her time talking about Navajo legacy and struggles to protection their culture , language, their spirituality etc… important and understandable but it’s too much.

Fun, scary, beautiful scenery, challenging trail, friendly and knowledgeable guide, cost is reasonable

Our tour guide Richard was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and told us personal stories about living in Monument Valley. I highly recommend this tour as you get to see things you wouldn’t see just by driving through and the personal stories, really bring meaning to this special place.

Great insights and personal stories from our Navajo guide. Up close access to beautiful land formations and scenery.

Has a wonderful and very memorable tour. We learned so much about Monument Valley and our tour guide Cody even answered questions we had for outside the park. Cody was the best! Loved it was open air as we saw some that were in vans. Even though we got a little sandy, we got to experience and see the entire park. Saw and learned more than if we drove ourselves. Thanks Cody and Ralph!

This tour was absolutely spectacular ! Our tourguide Dorothy was amazing, we loved her stories about the history, life and spirit of the Navajo people.

What an amazing tour so well worth doing.
Our guide Richard a local Navjo Indian. was so full of information and very funny with it too. He knew all the best locations for photos and how to take them. Amazing scenery
Kate_R, Aug 2024
I was glad we didn’t try to drive the scenic road as it was very rough terrain. It was great being able to see other rock formations away from the main drive. I particularly enjoyed the cave with our guide playing music. Our guide was friendly, but I wish he had given us more information about Monument Valley and the Navajo people.

The offroad travelling was just gorgeous! Our tourguide was very friendly and explained many things about the area. Thanks a lot!

I loved the landscapes, we found green bushes that made a wonderful contrast to the red lands. I have been in the Monument Valley twice but it was my first time in a tour and I found it amazing. Our guide Richard Washington extremely friendly, funny and told us a lot of stories about the natives culture.

That was my husband birthday trip to Monument Valley from Canada.
Richard was fabulous guide and He always took care about us during the tour.I highly recommend this tour and of course Richard!! It made us memorable trip!!!
Jason_C, Jul 2024
Honestly, I thought it would be cooler. It’s pretty amazing seeing the sites, but we were supposed to get a guide who played the flute in the amphitheater, which didn’t happen. The bathrooms at the visitors center was nasty, all the tour guides had to #2 at the same time.

Worth every penny. Stanley our driver took us back past where the tourists can go. He had a ton of stories and information about Monument Valley and the Navajo Nation. This was the highlight of our trip!
