Such a fun and educational experience! The views are absolutely stunning. Our tour guide was fantastic, teaching us about the landscape, offering tips on how to take good pictures as well as taking lovely pictures of us, and even playing the flute for us!
Monument Valley Sunrise tour
Pratik_G, Jan 2026
It was an amazing experience. We took the sunrise tour in January and stayed at The View hotel that made starting the tour in the morning easier. If you can, plan to stay there for some amazing views from your room. The tour promptly started at 630. It was freezing cold so it’s good to be prepared with proper warm clothing. Our tour guide Bobby was very knowledgeable and took us to some of the best spots in the Valley.
Loved every second of it

Takes you on a otherwise restricted trail - don't miss it
Deepak_T, Dec 2025
Without this tour, you will only see the 2 Mittens and Merrick Butte, as the path is restricted to tour guides only, so I highly recommend. All tour guides (ours and others) were very friendly and played musical instruments in some caves where the acoustics were amplified.

Elvis was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about Navajo culture and the valley itself. He even gave suggestions to improve our photography. We highly recommend his services.

Had a great time on the tour, views were amazing and Bobby was a great tour guide. Bobby took the group to some great view points which would not be able to get to in your own car that made the experience more special
Monument Valley a must to see!!
Kevin_N, Sep 2025
We had a 3 hour sunset tour of Monument Valley and it didn't disappoint. The weather was not the greatest but that was no one's fault. Our tour guide Evonne with Navajo tours was fantastic .She was funny, very knowledgeable and immersed us with her Navajo culture . I would recommend her 10 times over . She was a pleasure to be with .

It was wonderful! Tour guide friendly and knowledgable. Very helpful with taking pictures and talked about history of the Navajo people.
Well worth it.
Jack_P, Sep 2025
Bobby was a great guide and made the experience well worth it. Was very knowledgeable about the area and talked about his Navajo culture as well as showed us the best places to get great shots of the landscape. He took us to areas outside the normal tours and played some of his native music on the flute. Would go with his tour again.

Sandra_M, Sep 2025
Our guide was Harry, nice gentleman, lots of knowledge. We ran into Donna, our guide from previous day, hugged like old friends.
Go with Navajo Spirit Tours instead
Janet_G, Sep 2025
It was promoted as a sunset tour but ended well before sunset so that was fraudulent advertising. We were also not taken back to the loading/drop off site and had to walk all the way back since that is where we parked. We went with a different vendor last year who was much more knowledgeable about the history and the area. I would recommend that group, Navajo Spirit Tours, over this one.
Exceptional
Mary_D, Sep 2025
Sunset tour was beautiful, our tour guide Tyran pronounced TIA was exceptional, talks about native people, their cultural beliefs and traditions, ..he also got us the most beautiful pictures and gave tips on where to get them.. thank you.
Back country adventures
Nicholas_V, Sep 2025
Nice to get into the back country, up close and personal. Can only see certain monoliths-rock formations on a Navajo guided tour…
Evening 4x4 adventure
Paul_H, Sep 2025
Great way to see the park. Got to get off the public roads and see amazing formations. Harry, our guide was very knowledgeable and gracious. A tour is the only way to go.
Worth every penny!
Laura_C, Sep 2025
Our tour guide Bobby was amazing! He was kind and informative and helped to take pictures of our family. Well worth every penny!
What an honor to be on...
Angie_N, Aug 2025
What an honor to be on tribal land! Bobby, our tour guide, was fantastic! We had the opportunity to listen to him play a traditional ceremonial flute under one of the many arches and domes. It was very moving. Along the tour you see so many monuments and get the history and story behind them. We loved being able to take pictures up close and having access to these incredible structures! We recommend everyone doing this tour and not doing the self drive as the roads are bumpy and sandy and the guides navigated them with ease.
