The tour operator said they didn’t have our reservations??? They told us we should have arrived before our stated start time so we could have gotten ready. We did arrive late but with this new info we were even later. I was told this info was emailed to us but it wasnt anywhere in the info I received. Because of all this they shorted our 1hr tour to 30min.

Thank you for your review, yes that is correct, if you arrive to the store late basically you used your tour time, so you get the time left by you, we rum 7 Segway tour every day so we can't way for a person or group that arrive late also we can't give anybody the full time the tour is arrive late. thank you Miguel Z

We’ve booked Segway tours through viator in two other cities and this one was the worst. It felt rushed and the guide led us without looking back to make sure we were safe. He did not share much Miami history and told us that a lot of his information was what he’s’ “been told.” He only gave us one opportunity to stop and take pictures. We did enjoy learning who owned properties on Star Island. Luckily, we knew who the people were because when others said they didn’t know, the guide didn’t even try to share their significance. The most disappointing part was that he couldn’t or didn’t explain the significance of art deco buildings related to Cuban migrants. When we got back to the shop, the guide was given a high- five by his co-workers who told him that he “ made it on time.” The young man who was our guide was very nice but lacked the professionalism and knowledge that we’ve come to expect on these tours. Unfortunately, I don’t know his name because he didn’t introduce himself.

Fun way to see star island

First timer on Segway. Was very afraid and felt unbalanced. The team took their time to allow me to feel comfortable. By the end of the tour I felt like a pro. The tour takes you down public streets and across the bridge into star island. Our tour guide Gustavo stops at beautiful spots for pictures. He also took many pictures of us during the ride and will transfer them to your phone afterward.

We had a great time. First time doing this and we all felt comfortable very quickly. Some of the other teens on the tour had a hard time, but our 21 and 18 year olds got it quickly as did my wife and I. Lots of fun! Guide was patient and helpful. We would go again.

Chad was an awesome tour guide. He showed patience in the beginning with the first timers and those who were rusty. He watched over us on the tour and stressed safety first. He was extremely informative while being relaxed and humorous. Both young and old talked about him the morning and we are no longer in Miami, we're home. Fantastic Tour

We did the Star Island Segway Tour and it was fantastic, we had been on segways before which made the whole experience much smoother. (Don’t worry if you haven’t they will teach you, it’s really easy ;-) ) We ended up having a private tour as no one else had booked for that time and we were able to zip round so much of Miami Beach as well as Star Island. Our guide really looked after us even showing and stopping us for a Cuban coffee off the main touristy tracks. Would definitely recommend and when we go back we’ll try and different location for our Segway tour.

The tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He took great care of us as we learned to ride a Segway for the first time. The tour itself is fascinating. We saw Star Island, the Art Deco district, and the entertainment district. All of it was incredible. 10/10, would go again in a heartbeat!

The tour was fun - not many people get to go onto Star Island, but this tour does so that was a highlight. It was my first time on a Segway and I was a little nervous, especially when we were in traffic, but Leo our guide was patient with me. I'd opted for the first tour of the day, which was great as traffic was not super bad when we were going - I personally cannot imagine doing one later seeing how traffic increased, but if you love riding Segways you might love the adventure! I don't know that I'd do another Segway tour just because I was never fully comfortable on the thing, but I'm glad I did it once and overall I enjoyed it.
