My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip! Captain Dave has a super cool personality and going during the week meant that we were almost the only ones on the water. It was so peaceful to go out on a sand bar with no one else and take in the views all around. Would definitely recommend this chill way to enjoy the Miami coast.

This was such a relaxing and fun experience. We had never gone sailing before so it was new and exciting. Captain Dave was very informative and very friendly.

Sailing the biscayne bay was relaxing and the guides were friendly but...... the title of this adventure listed snorkeling, which is why my wife and I booked this trip, and we were not offered any snorkeling. None at all. Didnt even see any of the reef. So while this was a pleasant experience it is not what is advertised or what we paid for.

Dear Eric, the snorkeling is dependent on several factors, the visibility of the water is not always the best and we are solely powered by the wind so we can't always make it to the reef. We have to adapt to the wind conditions. Often everything works out other times it does not, we cant control the conditions !

Friendly captain who was relaxed and never in a rush. Communicated clearly the day before and day of our sailing. Got to snorkel with a sea turtle, see a nurse shark, and enjoy the beautiful views.

What great fun! David is a very engaging and knowledgeable skipper. We had a great breeze leading to a wonderful sail. David is a great raconteaur and we learned a lot about Miami history and Biscayne National Park The snorkeling was great and we saw abundant marine life on the reef, including a sea turtle. We were fortunate to see a beautiful sunset during our return to the mooring.

This trip is definitely not worth the money. The tour guide was Argentinian and didn’t speak English well. He had no answers for our questions. And the snacks were already opened and eaten out of containers. The only thing “ECO” about the trip was the the old Hobby Cat was it had no motor. Terrible trip!!! My suggestion would be to take the boat trip out of Byscane National Park..

Martha I'm so sorry to hear that that you did not find the experience to your liking. Alejandro does speak English, not sure why you felt he did not speak English. As for the snacks we buy them in bulk and use reusable containers, but I can assure you all snacks are fresh and not previously eaten. The Hobby Cats are hardly old, we maintain them constantly, and everything is in working order. As its well advertised we do not use motors, we are an eco tour after all.

Wonderful experience even though the weather wasn’t what it needed to be. But that’s okay because none of us can control the weather. JP was a great captain with a great vibe and very thoughtful on making my and my ladies day special. Que cumples tus desoes compa! Definitely recommend !!

We recently had the most amazing private sailboat experience in Miami with JD, and I can't recommend it enough! JD is an incredibly humble, polite, and friendly host who made our entire trip feel safe, relaxed, and full of joy.
The boat ride itself was peaceful and beautifully scenic, offering us a unique perspective of Miami from the water. JD went above and beyond by capturing stunning photos and videos of our family, creating memories we’ll always cherish.
One of the highlights of the experience was trying the "Trapeze" on the boat, it was such a thrill! If you’ve never tried it before, this is a "Must Do". JD patiently guided us through it and even managed to take some epic action shots while we were in the air!
It was a very private and personalized experience just what we needed. Thank you, JD, for such an unforgettable adventure. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing time with JP. No extra fees he added on like all the other tour reviews say. We were even late due to Uber and he kindly waited on us. He took us to his fav spots, we saw conch, fish and a crocodile. Had snacks. And he took pics for us. I specifically told him we would write a review for him - very much worth it. Book it!

We had an incredible time on this tour! My daughter and I went with Captain JP and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was warm, knowledgeable, fun, and even snapped some amazing photos for us throughout the trip. We were joined by another small group, making it feel like an intimate adventure rather than a crowded tourist outing. Sailing on Biscayne Bay was stunning, and the stop at the sandbar was a perfect, relaxing highlight. David, who took us to and from the Hobie sailboat, was also super friendly and professional. The entire experience felt like a peaceful escape and JP even kept us out a little longer to enjoy more time on the water. Highly recommend this eco-adventure for couples, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy Miami in a truly memorable and laid-back way. Five stars all the way!

My kids loved learning aspects of sailing and getting to “trapeze” off the side of the boat. Captain David is a professional educator, and it shows in every aspect of his interactions with us and our kids. We had a wonderful time!

Arrived at 230 for 300 pm tour. Couldn't find tour group. Unable to contact operator, difficult to contact Viator (only easy option was chat-bot). Finally talked to Viator, but they couldn't contact operator either. Viator rep was courteous and helpful otherwise. She promised a refund, but not sure how to resolve.

Sailing across Biscayne Bay on a beautiful day would’ve been perfect enough, but we also were lucky to have great winds that flew us across the bay. The views were incredible and we also saw the lighthouse, national park and anchored to enjoy snorkeling a small reef and snack break. David was an amazing guide, teacher and storyteller. We’ll definitely will be back again!

We enjoyed a lovely evening on the bay. The sailboat was smaller than my wife expected, but after she got used to it we had a wonderful relaxing evening. (We had 4 passenger + Cpt David & no motor) We stopped at sand bar in 2-4 feet of water and snokled for a while. No much wiildlife on this adventure, but very peaceful. Great conversions with Cpt. David.

Honestly, this experience is just as weird and interesting as it looks. The Hobie catamaran we sailed on could comfortably seat about 8 people, but we were joined by just one other couple on our trip (4 passengers + captain David).
We had a small miscommunication prior to reservation, but that was innocent enough. The excursion is very dependent on the weather - the catamaran is entirely green and if there's no wind, you paddle. Example: on the day before our trip was a big storm, so that group was rescheduled to the afternoon of our day. And our trip was mostly without wind.
We were scheduled for 10 AM but both groups were a bit late so we were on the water closer to 10:45. We floated around the bay for a few hours chatting and looking for points of interest nearby. We stopped at a little sand bar/island for some snacks and snorkeling - the snorkeling was a bit underwhelming, but we enjoyed some time in the water and the provided fruit, hummus, chips, etc. and we brought some beers along too.
After our stop, the picked up a tad and we checked out a couple historic buildings along the bay and tried the harness you see in so many photos. We made it back to land around 3 pm.
All in all, this was a very enjoyable experience, but it helps to know what you're getting into.
The details and timing of the experience are subject to change, but they will try their hardest to make it a good time. It's not exactly my jam, but I would probably do it again only because I think every trip with them is different haha.
