They arrived late. The staff seemed very unorganized, unprofessional and not knowledgeable. It was pouring down rain and the staff didn’t even take the time to wipe seats off to sit. The trip was suppose to be 4 hours. We paid for 5 hour parking which was the most we could select per parking ban. We arrive back to port 1.5 hours behind schedule. We received a parking ticket for going past our time because it would not allow us to add additional time. We even approached staff about being behind schedule and needing to be back and they could care less and we felt like they took their time more so. We also had work to get back to and this trip made us late. Our time is just as valuable. We did not see any manatees and I doubt many are even in the area. Also did not get to see any raccoons other than one at the top of a tree sleeping and our guide shook the tree to wake him up a bit but it went back to sleep. Also a very large dead iguana on the ground in the pathway. Just felt like a chaotic trip and became very stressful when it should have been a fun relaxing trip. May have run smoother if they split such a large group up into 2 groups and each group could have done opposite attractions and then switch. Would definitely not recommend to anyone going forward and we plan to also share a google review with how dissatisfied we are.

Only about an hour and a half of this tour is spent in the kayaks, and we weren’t even given the option to try stand-up paddle boards. The tour was a nice time but definitely not what I had signed up for or expected.

There’s a 45 minute boat ride there and back to a beautiful spot to kayak through the mangroves. Make sure to bring shoes that can get wet for a change of shoes. I used beach shoes. They have frosty water, so don’t worry about bringing some. It’s rather a small boat and during our trip it was a little crowded but fine. I met a really interesting woman who was a filmmaker, very friendly gathering and very great hosts.

Everything went as expected. I showed up in my swimsuit already. I don't remember there was a changing room.
Kristin_H, Dec 2025
No manatees. No snacks. No alcohol. Disappointed as all those three things were advertised in the listing. Misleading trip. Friendly staff (Shaun, Tanny and Oscar) but the rest wasn't up to standard.
Dale_R, Nov 2025
Great experience! I would only change the group size and photo because it is a little misleading as it’s very unlikely to find or see manatees on the trip
Larissa_A, Oct 2025
It is very fun ! Will definitely take your fear away of raccoons if you have any ! They are adorable! And our tour guide Sean was great !
Crystal_K, Oct 2025
This was an amazing little afternoon excursion. Our host was very knowledgeable in local birds, fish, fauna and all things wildlife. we kayaked alongside a pod of dolphins, saw crab spiders, raccoons, puffer fish, a variety of birds and then some. Highly recommend this to see the biscayne bay. Great value.
Batel_O, Aug 2025
The crew was great! Activity great! I was disappointed I didn’t had the chance to see manatees like the activity I was sighted for. Other than that it was great!
Larry_H, Aug 2025
both tour guides were amazing, this trip very entertaining and very enjoyable. The tour guides made sure we got a unforgettable trip
Christina_R, Aug 2025
CJ and Captain trip were wonderful. We really enjoyed getting a tour of the bay seeing the birds on bird Island, the raccoons on raccoon Island, and especially kayaking.
Angel_P, Jul 2025
It was a fun experience. Make sure to pack a change of clothes; you have the option to swim around raccoon island.

Fantastic trip. Got us out early. Had a fantastic guide. Alessandra was great. Very knowledgeable. Made sure everyone was safe. Overall made the trip for us. 10 stars!
Paul_A, Jun 2025
Didn’t see much but raccoons on the island. Drinks and watermelon was hot but was a decent excursion
Vera_A, Jun 2025
It was a nice experience and we saw wild racoons. They guide you but it's pretty easy going and relaxed and you get to explore by yourself.
Yueer_J, May 2025
That was a fantastic journey. We saw lots of mangroves and raccoons on two islands. Adam as our tour guide was passionate, humorous, and professional, giving us extensive experience of interacting with marine shellfish. Absolutely 10 out of 10 experience here in Miami!
Nikoletta_Z, May 2025
The trip was very nice and the raccoons were adorable. Our guide Tony was the best! I recommend taking a kayak

This is advertised as a paddle/kayak tour, however, I think you’re on land more than you’re on your SUP/Kayak. We went towards the mangroves, but only went in approx. 500 ft before turning around. It was extremely disappointing! I was hoping for a much better exploration of the mangroves! After turning around, we cut straight across to Raccoon Island. The island was very cool to see and got some insightful history and whatnot, but spent more time here than on the water. From the mangroves to the island was only about 1500 ft. (So it was minimal time on your sup/kayak) After the island, you went straight back to the boat/loading site. Our tour guide, Sean was super nice and very friendly and knowledgeable; but the tour itself was disappointing, as we (my husband, and the other couple we were with) were all hoping for actual paddle time and some exploration in the mangroves, as the itinerary suggests.

CJ was a great guide and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was a lot of fun.
Sonja_C, May 2025
Alexandra and Captain Drip were amazing. Alexandra was so knowledgeable about the areas and so sweet. Captain drip was funny and got us pumped up for our trip.
Alvin_C, May 2025
Very well organized and unforgettable experience. The team that meets you at the dock texts you ahead of time and provides very specific instructions. The transport from the dock to the paddle boats were seamless. Rowing through the mangroves was an unforgettable experience, we even saw a manatee! Our tour guide, Tony, was super cool and shared lots of information. Raccoon island was also an amazing experience
Kathryn_C, May 2025
Angie (tour guide) was the best!! She made the whole trip so fun and enjoyable. The kayaking is chill & not very long, it’s just through the mangroves and then to and from raccoon island. If you’re new to kayaking it’s not going to wear you out. On the other hand if you’re looking for an excursion with lots of kayak time this isn’t the one.
The raccoon interaction is really fun! The guide brings food to feed them & they will take it straight from your hand. They also really wanted our water so grab a water bottle and they’ll drink from your hand too.
We didn’t see any other animals besides some fish and a crab, but the raccoons are so cute, it’s worth it.
Bring shoes that can get wet.
The check in process was easy and we had no trouble finding the meeting point.
Overall good experience.

A fun little adventure in Miami. Adam was our guide and was wonderful and knowledgeable. the raccoons came right up to us and we had a blast.
Carl_W, May 2025
Alejandra was fantastic.
She brought great energy and knowledge to the tour.
Would highly recommend.
Brandie_W, Apr 2025
It was great! The little raccoon guys are so sweet. It was well managed and was a great time. It wasn’t the time of year for manatees but that’s okay it was lovely.
Alexander_L, Apr 2025
Amazing experience and the tour guide was exceptional. She was great with guiding us through the grove and to the raccoon island where we got to see and interact with the raccoon family that lives on the island
The whole family had a great time
Thank you for an amazing experience!!!!
Jordan_E, Apr 2025
The actual activity of kayaking through the mangroves and going to raccoon island was awesome, but our tour guide didn’t give us any information about what we were seeing. Definitely bring shoes with you, nobody warned us that the island is super rocky and hard to walk around barefoot. The guide gives you watermelon to feed the raccoons but the raccoons didn’t really go for it. Someone in the group brought grapes and blueberries, and they had more luck getting the raccoons to come up to them. Overall a very fun time if you don’t mind the tour being hands-off, especially if you already have some kayaking experience. My husband and I had a blast!
Ellen_D, Apr 2025
Great experience - spent a beautiful afternoon paddling in the mangroves and bay with Isabela and Frances - they were super friendly and informative. Raccoon island was a hit - the raccoons were super cute and docile. My 14 year old and I had a wonderful time!
Diana_H, Apr 2025
The tour was absolutely fantastic. It was our first time kayaking and we loved it! Raccoons are incredible and very friendly. I would recommend bringing some mush mellows, raccoons loved that the most.
