We loved the tour - a true highlight of our stay in Lisbon. Sofia was so lovely, knowledgeable and fun! We did this trip on our 1st night of arrival and Carla was an informative and friendly guide. There were 8 people on the trip and it was a very pleasant experience. I had read other reviews before I went regarding the quality of the food and would probably agree that it wasn’t great and would not go back to any of the establishments that we were taken to, however this did not detract from the experience as we met some lovely people on the night.

Karla was from Lisboa and know the best places to go where only locals go for an authentic Lisbon experience! We had 6 people in our group and lovely couple from UK that made our evening a wonderful balance of new and old friends! Karla is so warm and personable with knowledge is the area from history of the town to minutes and political hoods odd Lisboa. She had such a thoughtful way to introduce and educate us on the history of Lisbon. We had a fantastic evening reading sans learning about the area! You’ll love your tour!

This tour took us to 6 spots in a couple of different neighborhoods. Every stop included delicious tastes of Portugal and a fascinating story from our guide Ana. We lucked out in one spot and saw a traditional singing group perform. It was so moving. Ana also gave us tips for spotting great local food spots and the history of some of the foods we tried. This is a must do tour in my opinion.

Just to add for future guests reading your review, although Lisbon is known for its hills, our tour is designed to keep a comfortable and relaxed pace. We make use of elevators along the way and avoid steep climbs, so everyone can enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

Oh my gosh! This was a great tour. Sofia was awesome. She was super patient, kind and knowledgeable. All of the food was awesome and there was soooo much to choose from. Excellent wine parings with all the food. We started with a Ginja shot and had everything in between ending with a pastel de nata and port! I would highly recommend this tour!

- The tour was carefully designed so the tastings follow a natural rhythm: we begin with a traditional "Ginjinha" as a welcome drink and finish with "pastel de nata" paired with Port wine as dessert!
Between those two moments, across the 6 stops, we focus only on savory tastings paired with drinks, without mixing sweet and savory along the way.

Joel did an amazing job we had such a great time we even went over 30 minutes on our tour ( and that was a good thing)!! I don’t want to spoil the stops, but you start at the bottom of the hill and without walking up stairs, you only walk down the hill. Please use these guys , they care about their country and are very knowledgeable about the history and food….

This was such a fun tour! Our guide Sofia was amazing - very friendly, knowledgable, and courteous throughout. It turned out to be a small group of 5-6 people and we all had a great time walking and chatting together. Sofia helped to navigated dietary restrictions at one of the stops and shared lots of fun tidbits about Lisbon as we explored. The tour included a surprising amount of food. While some pictures suggest it is a sample size (e.g., a small bite of bifana) it is actually a LOT (e.g., an entire bifana sandwich alongside some soup at one stop). Near the end we had a sit down tasting menu at one venue and we could barely eat it we were so full (but don't worry, we found room - it was too good to pass up!). Definitely a must try tour!

We love watching guests realise halfway through that the “sample bites” are actually proper meals. That final tasting menu is always the moment everyone thinks they’re full… and somehow still keeps eating. 😄

It was a lot of food! Sophia was the best guide. Very easy going, very knowledgeable in all the areas we traveled. The walking was not at a rushed pace, very easy. Enjoyed the other couple in the group. We had a great time. My favorite was the bifana and of course the pasteis de nata!

Carla was exceptional, so sweet and knowledgeable. She is both a guide and a local who took us to hidden treasures that we never would found on our own in Lisbon. Amazing food tour! We had 6 stops with a food/wine(or Beer) pairing at each stop. Great introduction to portugese foods and history. The tour was relaxing and fun! A great first tour for my trip. Ana was an excellent guide with a wide range of different tastings as well as a very informative explanation of the history of Lisbon, as it relates to food. Used elevators to beat the hills and spent over 4 hours with the group
