Enjoy a fully-guided small group kayak and snorkeling tour through the mangroves and calm waterways just beyond Key West. Meet your captain in the marina and hop aboard your electric boat for an incredible wildlife tour through the shallow backcountry. Learn about wildlife as you make your way through scenic landscapes and refuges during the boat ride and keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles and playful bottlenose dolphins.
Next, make your way through shallow waters in a tandem kayak and get an up-close look at the beauty and nature that surrounds you. Your guide shares details on how to steer and handle your kayak before allowing you to set sail on your own.
You also have time to snorkel and engage with underwater ecosystems at a different location during this tour. Take a dip in calm clear waters where tropical fish and mangrove roots make for unique scenery. All gear, flotation devices, and instruction are provided.

Well run operation you will do some snorkeling and it will be guided and you will do some kayaking which will be guided. They offer water and very light snacks if you have children and they get hungry a lot please bring food for them or pack a lunch and they can put it in their cooler. We saw nurse sharks so many species of birds, stingrays, squids, turtles, beautiful barrel sponges and coral bright orange. We learned a lot about the animals and Flora plus history of the keys. Libby and Jackie were a great crew and it was an easy-going day on the water. Oh and dolphins !

Capt Libby &Jackie were great and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and wildlife. Weather in Dec was nice. The provided wetsuits and floatations made snorkeling easy and comfortable. We saw a sea turtle while kayaking, fish & lobsters while snorkeling, and dolphins while sailing. My 8 yr old daughter loved it, and the 4 1/2 hrs flew by. There was plenty of room on the boat (which has a restroom) and it had a stairwell that made getting in and out of the water easy.

1/2 day trip was a blast - kayak, snorkel, delicious food and saw group of 10+ dolphins with babies. Highly recommend! If Haden is your catamaran’s co-captain you’re in for a treat…a wealth of knowledge, funny and catered to every need….made the trip so enjoyable for all!

It was a very well put together tour, very enjoyable with activity but also some time to just relax and cruise. Libby and Angela were super friendly and clearly know their stuff, but also were just fun to chat with. Lunch was great as well!

Captain Libby and 1st Mate Brian were great, despite the fact that Brian's a Maine Black Bear ;) They were able to check off all the boxes for this trip starting off with a lucky manatee sighting just as we were preparing to leave the dock. kayaking at Cottrell Key, and as we were transiting to our snorkel spot by Archer Key we happened upon a pod of 8 dolphins. Brian is a wealth of knowledge about the mangroves, the Keys and the wildlife proving he learned something at UMaine. Snorkeling was okay by Archer Key. There are probably better snorkel spots on the Atlantic reef side of Key West. On our way back to port we even saw a hammerhead shark surface chasing after a snack. The lunch consisted of some good organic offerings. We had one nut allergy in our party and they were good about pulling up the ingredients list and working with her to make sure she didn't consume anything with nuts.
I'd recommend this tour and Libby and Brian anytime.

Definitely recommend the Blue Q excursion for kayak and snorkeling. Crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was fabulous. Loved the smaller group atmosphere. If you’re looking for a cruise packed wall to wall with drunk people, this is not for you.

The staff was incredible, from captain Billy, Brian and Annie. The knowledge that was shared about Key West was so interesting. The food was amazing and the day on the water was more then our family had hoped for a return trip is a must
