Excellent Time!

First time KW visitors from New York, and took a chance on Honest Eco - and are so happy that we did! We had such a wonderful time with on their snorkel and sandbar tour. Our group was 4 adults and 3 kids, ages 9–11, and it was truly a highlight of our trip to Key West. Everyone had an amazing time. Captain Dan and First Mate Haddon were absolutely incredible. They were warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel easy and special from start to finish. They were so great with both the adults and the kids, and you could really tell how much they care about what they do. Their love for the ocean and their knowledge of the area made the trip feel much more personal and meaningful. We also really appreciated the fresh fruit, veggies, hummus, and filtered water. Those thoughtful touches made such a difference and added to the relaxed, cared-for feeling of the whole outing. What we loved most about Honest Eco is that it offers such a refreshing alternative to the loud, crowded party boats. If you are visiting Key West and want something more peaceful, family-friendly, and authentic, this is the trip to book. It was clear that the people behind this business truly care about the ocean environment and conserving it, and that made us feel even better about choosing them. The cherry on the sundae was cruising back into KW as the sun was setting. We would highly recommend Honest Eco to anyone visiting Key West who wants a beautiful, fun experience on the water while supporting a business that genuinely respects and cares for the marine environment.

Great crew. Small and Sav made the trip really enjoyable. Got to see lots of see life both snorkeling and on the sandbar. The sunset was beautiful

Both our captain and co-host were amazing. This is our 2nd year and it was even better than the first. Smalls and Sav were very knowledgeable about everything. I think everyone on the boat had an amazing time, along with mingling with the guests and crew. We already can't wait to come back next year. Keep up the good work you guys!!!

We were disappointed in the seaweed situation in the Keys. We found this experience while searching for an excursion out in the ocean. Registering for the trip was easy, directions to it were good, Sav and Smalls were excellent, and the excursion was long enough to feel like the expense was justified

In case this comment is posted without context the question I was asked is “what should people know about the experience?” Not the fault of the company or crew Couldn’t go to sandbar due to weather. Also not the fault of the company or crew, the snorkeling would be great if you have never been snorkeling in Hawaii or anywhere in the Caribbean. We saw many spiney lobster which I have never seen before. Also not anyone’s fault but mine, It was mid April and I am from a much colder place. I could not believe how cold and hungry I was. I was also asked if I’d recommend to a friend, I guess , just not a ton of bang for your buck, it’s $300 for the 2 of us without parking or tips (which they ask for in 3 different manners which I think is trashy, I don’t want the crew to work for peanuts in a place that’s very expensive to live BUT my money is hard earned as well. Beautiful sunset. They played the worst music I’ve ever heard for awhile. At one point I wouldn’t have minded if the boat sank it was so terrible.
