Great experience and a GREAT value for the price. We set sail with Bible, Anthony, and Mary and had a lovely day. We learned a bit about the history of of Key West, snorkeled, and kayaked around mangroves where we saw plenty of fish, turtles, and even a nurse shark!

What To Expect

Start your full-day water adventure in Key West by meeting your skipper and group at the base of Opal Key Resort 30 minutes prior to start time.

Then, hop aboard your 65-foot (20-meter) schooner and sail through the waters of Key West National Wildlife Refuge, observing the vibrant ecosystem along the way.

Stop to explore the mangrove canopy by kayak and make stops to snorkel in the backcountry waters of the Florida Keys, while your guides provide information about the area.

Midway through, enjoy a buffet lunch with unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks as well as refreshments and snacks throughout the day.

Conclude your adventure back at the meeting point.

Overall, the sailing, snorkeling, and kayaking tour was great! Danger Charters and the staff that took care of us were the best part! Mary and Bible were friendly, knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to make people feel comfortable and welcomed. The unlimited alcohol and included lunch/snacks made our tour even extra special. Although we didn’t see many fish snorkeling, we did see a string ray and it was fun using the pool noodles to snorkel. During kayaking, we learned about the history of the mangroves and got to see lots of birds, as well as a couple sea turtles! On our way back, we were even lucky enough to see a dolphin, which Mary and Bible helped keep an eye out for. I highly recommend using Danger Charters for your Key West tours.

Very relaxing, Mary and Molly were great! Loved that we did not have to pay extra for a wet suit, be aware many of these charge extra if you need one. And let be honest sometime the water is cold. Very educational as well.

Mary and Anthony were fantastic. The food was great, they keep feeding us all day. The snorkeling was great, whether you had experience or didn’t they were there to help. And the kayaking was also awesome. Hands down best bang for your buck.

It was fantastic!! Brian and Daniel were excellent!! Couldn’t have asked for a better crew. We saw leatherback and green sea turtles, puffer fish, lion fish, parrot fish, cormorant, majestic frigate and many more. Snorkeling, kayaking and Sailing, eating and drinking. What an amazing time!

This was so much fun! We took our two teenage grandkids and made some great memories. Kayaking with sharks and sea turtles was the highlight of the day! The crew was amazing and made sure we all had what we needed. The only downside was the colder temperatures but it was still worth every penny. We will definitely do this again! Thanks so much!

My 14 year old and I thought this experience was awesome! We got to sail, see lots of sea life snorkeling, hangout on a sandbar, kayak around the mangroves, and were well fed all day. Our captain and Josh were amazing! They shared a lot of interesting information about the history of Key West and the ecology of the wildlife preserve. The 6.5 hours flew by and snorkeling/swimming was made more enjoyable with the optional use of pool noodles. There was also a go pro camera on board that participants and the crew used to take turns filming our adventures. At the end of our sail Josh edited the footage into a video and Air Dropped it to all of us. I highly recommend Danger Charters and this experience!

We really enjoyed our experience with this day excursion. The captain and the deck hands were so friendly and knowledgeable. We love that it was more intimate experience. Each of the crew members took the time to talk to all the couples on board and getting to know us . Conversation with everyone was enjoyable. Loved that it wasn’t over crowded, there was enough room for everyone to sit in the boat. The light brunch was unexpected surprise. The lunch was perfect for a day trip on the sailboat. We will definitely be coming back and booking with this company again. Well worth it. We give them 5 stars all the way around.
