Best Pub Crawl EVER

This was the BEST pub/bar tour I've ever been on. Our tour guide, Austin, was very knowledgeable about the history in Ketchikan. He was fun and perfect for my group of friends. We went to 3 local places and all were a very short walk between.

This tour was a visit to 3 pubs/bars. Randomly chosen, I assume, by company based on how many other groups doing the same tour at the same time. We had a small group of 6. There were 2 choices of beverage at each bar, beer or cocktail, which was good for those who don’t like beer. Bit of luck of the draw on bars. I was hoping for more of a tour with some history of the bars or Ketchikan but it was mostly visiting with other people on the tour and the guide talking mostly about himself. Nice short walk about town.

Trystan was awsesome. He shared so much knowledge about Ketchikan and took us to 3 awesome bars — each one had different history and fun stories. The drinks were yummy, too!

This was one of the most fun tours I've been on in quite some time. Our guide, Austin, was super knowledgeable about the history of each place we visited, he kept our group entertained and a fun time was had by all! We were lucky to have a small group of us which added to the personal service. Each location had a very interesting history, and hearing about it from someone who grew up there made it that much more interesting.

Pub Crawl in Ketchikan

I went on this pub crawl with my 24 year old daughter and we had such a blast! There were only four of us on the tour with two guides and they were incredible. We got to hear about some of the Ketchikan history and about life for locals living in the community all while drinking our choice of a cocktail or beers brewed locally. We visited three pubs then got some recommendations for local restaurants and sites to see afterwards. Would strongly recommend!

My parents and I booked this tour get off the beaten path of the Cruise ship excursion routine. It is a time we will never forget!!! If you love learning about the hidden history of a town, getting up close and personal with the locals this is the tour for you. We had an AMAZING time visiting local bars that we never would have known was there. Our guide took us on an amazing trip getting to met the locals, learning the history of each location and try the popular drinks. We treated like long time friends as we entered each bar. Thank you for the wonderful time!!! This tour is one you will remember… as long as you do not have too many ‘duck shots’. He he he 😜.

My husband and I were debating whether or not to get a tour to see Misty Fjords during our cruise stop, but the bot reviews were mediocre and the float planes just had some major crashes in the weeks prior to our cruise date, so we opted to keep our feet in the ground! This pub crawl was a blast. We had a total of 6 people in our group, so the tour operator offered to give us a private tour. We totally enjoyed the tour and our tour guide Xavier was an awesome dude. A local born in Ketchikan who shared much of the history of Alaska and the town of Ketchikan. We would highly recommend this way to explore the city. :)
