We had a cruise-booked excursion and had only a few hours afterwards to explore Ketchikan. We booked a private tour with Christopher. He picked us up right near our cruise ship in Ward Cove and showed us all of the highlights in town. He took us to places we never would've found on our own. We saw totems, deer, bears, seals, a waterfall, a salmon run and more. All the while Christopher spoke to us about the history of Alaska and Ketchikan. We are thrilled that we booked this experience!

This is the perfect tour for a group. Our guide (Juan) was amazing. He got on time to get us directly at the cruise terminal. The vehicle was super comfortable. Then we asked him to decide where to take us and he managed to meet all our expectations. We saw a black bear in the wild, bald eagles, deers, seals, star fishes, and clams. He really knew where to take us so our chances to see the animals were better. We also had a short stop to walk creek street and buy some canned salmon.
Juan is very knowledgeable and we felt safe throughout the day. He included all of us in every step of the way. 100% recommended if you're going to visit Ketchikan soon.

We had a fantastic experience with our own private tour, thanks in large part to Clarke. He was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our tour. His knowledge of the area was impressive—he provided excellent and insightful information that truly enhanced our visit. Christopher was awesome. We went to no less than 4 places that the ship offered as “independent “ tours. To see what we saw using the ship excursion pkg, we would have had to pay for 4 separate excursions.
Christopher was engaging, very accommodating, informative and entertaining.
Can’t rate this excursion high enough!!!

Highly recommend this personalized excursion! Chris is an AWESOME tour guide who has a wealth of knowledge about Ketchikan. He took us off the beaten path and showed us amazing sites - water falls, totems, eagles, salmon, deer and black bear.

Chris was so kind. He was professional and made our group feel so special. We had a little trouble finding him but I do not blame him. He had a sign and called us! So helpful! He showed us so many places and had so many facts! He had water for us and the van was so comfortable and roomy. I learned so much and had a blast.

Tim greeted us and gave us some insiders tips as to where we should consider visiting other than Creek Street and some of the more popular touristy stops while we were waiting for Clarke to pick us up. Clarke was amazing in terms of sharing with us about this history of Ketchikan as well as accommodating to all of our requests and there were 9 of us. We would definitely use Ketchikan Expeditions again when we are at Ketchikan.

I was traveling with 3 small children and my parents. Clark picked up us on time at the cruise station and he was very knowledgeable and he made sure we enjoyed every moment and he gave us lots of information about everything. It was a great your and we had great time and we saw bear, eagles, salmons,...
For 4 hours we almost visited all the visitor places in Ketchikan and it was very easy and fun. So happy to have Clark as our tour guide.

This was the best excursion. You could request where and what you would like to see and off we went. Our group of 4 were the only people in the van. The driver, Christopher, was phenomenal. He made the 4 hrs seem like 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable of the area, friendly, energetic and made sure our adventure was awesome. We saw 6 bears, a deer, too many eagles to count, a beautiful waterfall, totem poles and the town itself. Highly recommend.
