Marc_B, Feb 2026
Jared was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable both in the spaces we visited and in between providing color along the way. Timing was reliably spot on (start, end, stops) and we covered a lot of ground which was perfect for a half day tour.

Elks, bison and red rocks!

Kathleen_C, Jan 2026
Aaron was excellent. Listen to groups needs and detoured to see wildlife as requested. I would Ask for him every time.

Short and sweet tour

Great way to spend half a day in the Denver area. Managed to see so much within a short period of time. Our tour guide, Jason, was great - very engaging and informative, and did a great job of keeping us on schedule. Would highly recommend this program if you are in the area for a short period of time and/or are unfamiliar with the area.

Amanda_E, Jan 2026
Brennon was awesome at giving us a great tour. Was very knowledgeable about the Amphitheatre, Buffalo Bills history and the history of Golden. He had great suggestions as to where to get a snack and what to skip. Would go on another tour in a heartbeat. If you are on the fence, DO IT! You won’t regret it!

Trip canceled

Marla_K, Dec 2025
The trip was canceled because not enough people signed up. They did offer other excursions, but did not fit with the rest of my plans. I was only in town for a weekend and had other things planned but the excursion to Red Rocks and Golden was the thing I was looking forward to doing.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

We’re truly sorry that the tour was canceled due to low participation, especially knowing how much you were looking forward to visiting Red Rocks and Golden during your short stay. While we always do our best to operate every scheduled tour, occasional minimum group requirements are necessary. We appreciate your flexibility in considering alternative excursions, and we regret that they didn’t align with your plans. We hope you’ll have another opportunity to return to Denver and join us in the future.

Dashing In Denver

Trip was cancelled so we did not get the chance to see the red rocks or go to Golden Colorado either.

Very nice short trip

Our tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. We had just enough time at each stop. It was doable with my 84 year old mother. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was beautiful.

A Perfect Day in Denver: The Small-Group Tour You Absolutely Should Not Skip!

Karen_C, Nov 2025
This experience was truly exceptional. The small-group format made all the difference—it allowed us to visit several stops, ask plenty of questions, and really connect with our guide. Jed was incredibly knowledgeable about every area we visited, and his insights added so much richness to the day. The weather was perfect, and Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre were absolutely breathtaking. The landscape felt like a blend of Uluru in Australia and the Grand Canyon, with a touch of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. The views were stunning and helped us appreciate the beauty of the region from multiple perspectives. This was my first time in Denver, and we booked several excursions to get a true sense of the city. This tour quickly became one of our favorites. We especially loved our stop in Golden—a quaint, friendly town—where we had the best pizza we have ever tasted at Atomic Cowboy, home of Fat Sully’s NY Pizza. Our waitress, Savannah, was wonderful, and the whole experience made the stop even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the pace of the tour. There was just the right amount of time at each location, making it easy to explore, take photos, learn about the area, and even meet a few fellow travelers. We visited in November, which meant cooler weather but fewer crowds—absolutely worth it. I even purchased my Golden Rock Mountain t-shirt, which I will proudly wear as a reminder of an unforgettable day. Do not think twice about booking this experience—just do it. You will not regret it.

A Great Escape!

Dorothy_W, Nov 2025
A great 4 hour adventure not far from downtown Denver. Our terrific guide, Jason, kept things fun and friendly as he showed us the highlights of Red Rocks Park, Overlook Mountain and the charming town of Golden. Full of historic details, little known back stories, funny jokes and a specially prepared playlist, Jason made it an entertaining trip against the backdrop of gorgeous Colorado scenery. Lots of view points and wildlife viewing (I’d recommend the early morning trip to maximize the chances) as Jason expertly maneuvered us along the curves through the foothills. Can’t think of a more enjoyable way to spend a few hours outside the city environs.

Red Rocks & Beyond November 2nd

James_F, Nov 2025
Gable did a great job, he was a friendly & informative guide. He was on the lookout for bison & when they were spotted, was able to pull over to allow us to take pictures. Perfect way to see 3 interesting sights in one four hour trip. Red Rocks is a must see. Gorgeous views from Lookout Mountain. Golden is very scenic & walkable, with nature, shops, & restaurants.

Can’t choose your tour mates

Genevieve_P, Oct 2025
MC was great! Try to avoid Larry as a guide if you can. The tour was fantastic. MC was so knowledgeable about everything! We had some unruly tour companions that didn’t care much for my friends smoking but hey you can’t choose your tour mates. Other than that everything was great! Highly recommend!

Wow

Kelly_M, Oct 2025
Even though we hit a day that the theatre was not available to tour due to performance sound checks, I did not feel cheated in the least. I was surprised with the look out loop on the way down to Golden. Don't over research . Just do it. Be amazed.

Wonderful views of Red Rock

Joanne_G, Oct 2025
Red rock was beautiful. Would have like longer than 45 minutes to see. Quaint town of Golden. Good bit of walking.
