We chose this tour specifically for the Continental Divide. Our tour guide, Monica was a delight. Very bubbly and full of life. She shared detailed history at each stop. The Red Rocks Amphitheater was absolutely amazing. The highlight of course was the Continental divide at an elevation of 11,990 feet. The drive up to Loveland pass offered stunning views at each turn. Highly recommend this tour and having Monica as your guide is a bonus.

This was a great trip with a knowledgeable guide. 2 hours were allotted for Breckenridge but we could have easily stayed longer.

Everything went well! Driver was well informed with information to share and helpful. Sights are beautiful. Always take a jacket (even when you think you won't need it) !!!

We were informed that this tour would not go ahead due to the booking under the number to be operated, but the tour organiser provided another tour for red rocks and blue sky, the process was very smooth.
Red rocks theatre was very impressive and unique, driving up to the blue sky summit was amazing and the scenery was spectacular. Our guide Zak is kind and knowledgeable.

Great itinerary and Zach was a great guide, with plenty of cold water, which was very much appreciated given the hot weather. Red rock amphitheatre was unbelievable as well as Loveland pass, albeit a little chillier at 12,000ft. Would highly recommend.

Alex was an outstanding tour guide! He was incredibly informative from the moment we left Denver, sharing interesting facts and stories all the way to Red Rocks, Breckenridge, and Loveland Pass, and even on the drive back. His knowledge and engaging personality made the entire trip enjoyable and memorable. 👌🏻

Our tour at Colorado Red Rocks was absolutely unforgettable! The views were breathtaking, the fresh mountain air was so refreshing, and every stop felt like a postcard moment. Walking around the famous Red Rocks area and seeing the massive natural rock formations up close was truly amazing.
The whole experience was well organized, relaxing, and fun. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour even more enjoyable by sharing interesting facts and making sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip.
If you’re visiting Colorado, this tour is definitely a must-try. It’s the perfect combination of nature, history, and beautiful scenery. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience. We got to see so many places. Tour was small and we got personalized attention. Your guide Zack was excellent.

This trip by Ilimo is a must do. It is a good combination of pace and rest, movement and grandeur, in short, a very well curated trip with adequate time for every included spot. Alex was a very knowledgeable guide and kept on informing us of every stop on the trip. The first stop was at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The museum. is excellent and the Amphitheatre is a natural treasure which is a treat to see. Alex informed us about the mining townships en route to Brekenbridge after this. We had a quiet lazy lunch at Brekenbridge along with a walk on the main historic street, which was lovely. Then we went for a short walk into the forest and then up into the White River National Park, the Continental divide and the Loveland Pass before descending into Denver. We saw some elks on the way. This was an amazing trip and I am happy to recommend it....

Beautiful landscapes - like a postcard! ❤️ Our tour guide Alex was amazing!!! Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Due to a wreck that stopped all traffic dead (including us!), right when we were starting our return trip, we understood that the accident scene delay would make my husband/I late to our next event. Alex got out and went a few feet ahead to others outside their cars to ask the cause. He returned to share with us the situation that lay ahead, then he determined each options’ estimated delay, calculated options for getting back as close to time as possible, and then discussed those options with us, inviting us old fogeys to play a role in his decision-making process (elder wisdom lol). It showed tremendous respect for us as people and not just fares. That’s character. I highly recommend this tour! It’s like a series of appetizers. If you’re looking for in-depth activity with plenty of time to explore, look to other options.

Our tour guide was awesome. Breckenridge is foodie paradise. Definitely go for the bbq, hot cocoa and cookies.

The company is very professional. They were kind enough to text when I was running late. I would have never expected that.
Gwyn_T, Feb 2026
It was unseasonably warm for February but it was beautiful. Our tour guide was very nice and could answer most questions about the places on the itinerary. However, it would have been nice to have more commentary on the long ride to Breckenridge (even it it were taped or preprogrammed).

First, the tour is awesome!
Most amazing views of the mountains and scenery.
The tour director, Harley, was fun, kind and a really good driver. Has A LOT of energy and gave good instruction for avoiding altitude sickness. He was really knowledgeable and made the tour come to life.
There were a good amount of stops for bathroom breaks and stretching.
For plus sized folks like myself, be advised. The van fits 15 people but would consider it narrow with limited leg room for bigger or taller folks. It was pretty uncomfortable for me on the long stretches so I would not consider it “luxury” in that regard as the term ilimo might lead you to think.
The longest stretch in the van was about 1:30 hours at time. So given the reward of the views and the fun overall, for me it was definitely worth it.
Also another note about the elevation, it is tolerable but you likely will feel winded (as everyone mentions) with even minimal exertion if you are overweight, out of shape or have significant heart or lung problems ( the tour advises against going if you have the latter). I flew in and acclimated for a couple days before trying 8000 feet—Estes Park. I tolerated that pretty well so went for it with the continental divide which is 12,000 feet.
Would highly recommend overall!!
Wish the van was more spacious but understand it has to be fuel efficient and manageable on the mountains as well.
Thanks for a great time

Red Rocks entrance was closed. Eisenhower tunnel was closed resulting in massive traffic jam to use Loveland Pass.
Sylvia_W, Oct 2025
Beautiful day and Mountain View’s. Driver very personable and knowledgeable. Nice group of people on bus.
PattyAlberti, Oct 2025
The tour guide Zack was good and informative. However the tour company should review the Red Rock arena schedule of events and adjust the tour route accordingly. We did not see the arena due to an event that morning. The event coordinators (run event) would not let us enter. Our tour guide did not know and it was too late to adjust the tour to visit the Red Rock arena later in the day. Very disappointing.

Harlin was a great tour guide. He has great knowledge to go with his fun personality which made the trip educational as well as fun.
Harlin is also a great driver.

The tour guide was nice and called me to make sure I could find him. There was lots of great sites to see.
J_D, Sep 2025
Great overview of the area. Mountains, history and town life. The people at the locations were great as well at the driver/guide
Jackie_M, Sep 2025
Monica was an awesome guide - very knowledgeable and helpful.
Red Rocks, the Continental Divide and Breckenridge were all great. I could have done without Isak Heartstone Troll and Sapphire Point Trail. They were unnecessary.
Judith_S, Sep 2025
The stops on the tour were great! We saw a lot -- and covered a lot of ground -- in 7+ hours. Our guide (Timbo) was very nice and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I found his driving quite terrifying. He drove far too fast on the mountain roads as well as on the freeway, and he should not be looking at his phone while driving! Otherwise I'd give this tour five stars. With a safer driver, it would be superb!
