Q: How much does it cost to explore Pikes Peak Highway in 2026?

Admission from May 1 to November 30 is US$18 adults (16+) and US$8 children (6–15), or $65 per vehicle (up to 5). Otherwise, it's US$10 (adults), US$5 (children), and US$35 (vehicle). A US$2 timed-entry permit applies per vehicle in peak season (Memorial Day weekend–September 30).

Q: How do I buy tickets or timed-entry permits for the Pikes Peak Highway?

Timed-entry permits ($2 per vehicle) and 1-day admission tickets are available to purchase online via the Pikes Peak store or at the Gateway entrance. Shuttle tickets ($35 for adults, $10 for children ages 6–15) are available for purchase online or in person at the Gateway parking lot.

Definitely recommend!

Alex was a terrific guide and driver. He shared lots of history, stats, local details, and stories, plus he was extra helpful with my disabled husband. Garden of the Gods was crowded, but magnificent. He gave us plenty of time to wander. The visit to Pike's Peak was absolutely incredible - stunning vistas, but hydrate to help with altitude sickness! Worth it for a superb overview of this area outside Denver. Definitely recommend.
