Top Denver Day Trips

I am giving this a 5 star review as my family and I visited these locations privately and they are beautiful. Please be aware that altitude sickness is a real thing, my daughter suffered it and we had to miss the actual tour. I suggest leaving a few days before before the booking to recover if you arrive into Denver from lower altitudes. The tour operator however had no sympathy for this and refused to move my booking or refund me anything, which under the circumstances was quite disappointing. 5 stsr review for what you'll see, 2 star for the unsympathetic tour operators.

I loved the aspired tours guided hike. The tour guide pcikendusnup from Union Station and we went to Estes Park and got a break before entering. He was very personable about his connection to the parks, an avid hiker and loved everything out doors. It was great to get up close to nature and hike through the woods to see a few peaks especially Longs Peak and part OF Mt. MEEKER IN DISTANCE AND THE ROUTE TO THE LAKE. OUR START AT BARISTADT took us up straight and explained everything about what we will encounter and do. Our lunch was provided and midnful.of dietary snd was really cool.to talk to. He was honest about not being able.to always see big nature like moose, elk, or any of the big ones such as a bear. But we saw wildlife such as chipmunks, blue Jay's, a deer, and some little ones which was great. The Lilly ponds at the lake was another stop we enjoyed before continuing up. Overall great informative as md active hike and recommend anyone on first time to this park to experience the beauty of one America's many treasures.

Garden of the Gods was absolutely beautiful. We saw some climbers and wildlife. Pikes Peak Is not for the faint hearted. The drive up is steep and narrow. Our driver was great!! Unfortunately it was very cloudy so there were no views to see. The drive up was beautiful though.

Absolutely fantastic ghost tour! William was an outstanding guide—fun, informative, and full of great stories that really brought the history (and the hauntings) to life. He kept the whole group engaged and made the experience genuinely memorable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, spooky, and well-run tour!

Christin was the most amazing, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable guide. We learned so much on the drive out and back. I really appreciate the extra time and attention she spent on things like highway construction and restructured our day to avoid sitting in traffic. Top notch customer service! She made an effort to get know people. She seems so full of joy to share Colorado with people and help them love it as much as she does. We will definitely book again! Thanks for a great day!!! First trip to Denver and visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The park was beautiful and Alex our guide for the day was outstanding. He explained so much as we traveled to the park, through the park and then lunch at Estes Park. We saw elk, and moose and the views were spectacular. The tour was so much more interesting having a guide to explain so much and not having to drive ourselves through the mountains. Highly recommend this tour.

Hans, our tour guide, was a retired school teacher. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. He frequently checked in to make sure everyone in the tour group was having fun, comfortable, and take care of. The tour was fantastic, the mine and panning for gold were wonderful as well. Definitely a must-do for anyone even tangentially interested in history, geology, or learning about the state!

Our guide, Hans, was extremely knowledgeable about the history, nature, geology and social aspects of Colorado, easily addressing questions from all categories as we travelled to Breckenridge, Red Rocks and more. This was the highlight of our trip! Thank you!
