Great history tour!! Brian did a great job engaging us with the historical events of the area. LOVED the Red Rick Amphitheater! Also enjoyed the ice cream treat. Great if you're here for a short time.

This is a great tour for first-timers to learn about what Denver has to offer. One highlight of the tour was seeing Red Rock amphitheater. Our guide SB was terrific! She is very knowledgeable and gave us a local's perspective of all the sites. I recommend this tour to everyone!

What an absolute disgrace this company is. We had this tour booked for many months before and was the start of our road trip. We turned up only to find they didn’t have our booking, even though we had tickets. Please be aware of this company

We're truly sorry your trip started this way, we'd also be genuinely upset if we were in your position too.
We want to be completely transparent about what happened: your booking was made through Viator, but their system never transmitted the reservation to us due to system issues affecting bookings made on two separate dates in February and one of those dates was the day you made your booking through them. We had zero record of it, it wasn't a missed booking on our end, it was one that was never sent to us at all.
When you arrived, our tours for that day were already sold out, so our team could not seat you that date, only on the next day or another day this week.
Our Operations Manager, Blair, spoke with you directly, apologized, and worked to find alternatives on the spot. Meanwhile, Alyce, the guide you met in person, reached out to me, as the owner, and we were all attempted to contact Viator to request a refund on your behalf and to get more information on why they never sent us your booking. We understand a full refund was immediately processed. We're sorry that, understandably, the refund didn't undo the disappointment of that morning.
We've operated in Denver for over 11 years with tens of thousands of bookings and guests hosted and this kind of booking failure has never happened with a direct reservation booked on our website, it's only occurred through this third-party sync issue, so our apologies your family was the one affected.
This is why we always encourage guests to book directly with us: you get a real local team, a direct line if anything comes up vs. a call agent from Viator in another country, and no risk of a booking vanishing between platforms.
We hope you'll consider giving us the chance to host your family properly if you're ever back in Denver; please reach out to us directly and we'll make it right.

If you have your own car or a rental car, I don't think this excursion is worth the cost. You can easily visit the same places on your own for much less and at your own pace.

SB was a phenomenal tour guide with great insight on the historical history of Denver ! I am visually impaired and disabled and I never felt alone. Everyone treated me with a great deal of kindness ! I would recommend everyone choose visitor tours. Thanks for the grand time. I can’t pick which one was better the ice cream or red rocks.

We had half a day for a tour and it was perfect. Other tours go out of town for longer periods of time. This was a brief stop at Red Rock then through Golden and Denver. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Brian with Discover Denver Bus Tours entertained us with fascinating facts and stories from the moment we stepped on the bus until we hopped off three hours later. How did Denver get its name? It’s a relaxing, very informative, and a very enjoyable experience. SB was our guide. She was very knowledgeable, informative, and personable. She encouraged questions. We learned so much about the city she clearly loves. Buses were clean and in good condition. We appreciated the ice cream stop and ticket! Time and money well spent! Highly recommend.

This tour was exactly what we were hoping for! Our first time in Denver and SB was our guide and she was wonderful! Told us so many awesome stories, answered all of our questions, and is super knowledgeable about Denver.
The Red Rocks Amphitheater was amazing! And the scoop of ice cream from Little Mans was delicious. I am so glad we decided to do this tour at the beginning of our trip. Gave us places to go back and check out after. Definitely do this tour if you have the time, worth it.

Bring a water bottle. Trip leader was friendly, informal and knowledgeable. Coyod have stayed longer at central market.

Our guide, Brian, was great! We ended up with a snowy day which made visibility of the mountains and some other sites pretty much impossible but Red Rocks in the snow was beautiful. Brian’s Colorado history was great.
