We booked our tour a day before the tour. On the day of the tour, the tour host did not show up. I went onto the app to ask if they would be coming after the start time and the host responded, “There might have been a misunderstanding, unfortunately we cannot lead a tour today. We will offer a full refund! Sorry about that once more.” While we were refunded immediately, no one at Viator let us know that the tour had been cancelled.

In depth history of the area. Learned a lot. Henry is a very knowledgeable and an engaging guide. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

Great tour! Henry and Ian were fantastic guides. They shared their enthusiasm for West Town and its people. We definitely want to return to West Town in the future and revisit some of the places we saw.

Great way to spend an afternoon in Chicago!!
On this tour, we could learn about Chicago's history, about U.S. history while walking on the streets "where it happened" and understand "why it happened."... The guides are amazing storytellers that mix history, architecture and fun facts.

My family was visiting from NYC and wanted to check out other neighborhoods. The tour was perfect for us. I wasn't sure how much I would get out of the tour because I thought I was somewhat familiar with the area. I loved it -- learned so much. Henry and Ian are SO knowledgeable and genuinely excited to share their expertise.
The tour was very interesting for a local (me) and for people from out of town (my parents). We both liked the stories, facts, and variety. We also really liked that the tour guides were so receptive to questions.
Would highly recommend this tour to anybody but especially:
- Family
- Friends from out of town
- Friends from a different neighborhood
- You if you sometimes hang out in west town or are thinking about moving there.
